Far Bridge was last seen finishing ninth in the Breeders' Cup Turf in November at Del Mar.

Far Bridge, a two-time Grade 1 winner last year, makes his 2025 debut Saturday at Gulfstream in the Grade 3, $215,000 Pan American Stakes.

Far Bridge, trained by Christophe Clement for LSU Stables, kicked off his 2024 campaign with an allowance win on the Florida Derby day card. After three losses in graded stakes, Far Bridge won the Grade 1 Sword Dancer at Saratoga and the Grade 1 Joe Hirsch Turf Classic at Aqueduct.

His campaign ended with a ninth-place finish in the Breeders’ Cup Turf.

Far Bridge returned to the work tab in early February and has had eight workouts over the last seven weeks, including a quartet of five-furlong moves over the turf at Payson Park.

Clement also entered Tawny Port, who finished third, beaten a neck by the Clement-trained Kertez in this race last year. Tawny Port, who also suffered narrow defeats in the Monmouth Stakes and United Nations, hasn’t run since finishing sixth in the Grade 3 Sycamore on Oct. 11.

The Pan American drew a field of nine including Capture the Flag and Cash Equity, the first- and third-place finishers, respectively, from the Grade 2 Mac Diarmida here on March 1.
