It was somewhat surprising to find him entered for a $40,000 tag in his return from a long layoff, but he looked no worse for wear while posting an easy win from off the pace, and he was claimed by a dangerous trainer in Brad Cox. Talented gelding one to keep an eye on going forward on either surface.
