And here are the NFL draft best bets from analyst Gino Buccola of the Daily Racing Form:

Jaxson Dart draft position under 24.5 (+155 at DraftKings Sportsbook)

QB Cam Ward is a lock at No. 1. Following that, it's Shedeur Sanders and Dart as the next two highest ranked quarterback prospects. The Browns and Giants each could use a QB, and either one of those teams could use their top-3 pick, trade down or move back into the first round to grab one. The New Orleans Saints, with the No. 9 pick, are rumored to be selecting a QB with the news that veteran Derek Carr is dealing with a bad shoulder injury. The Pittsburgh Steelers, picking 21st in the first round, could also use a future starting quarterback. In short, there are lots of different ways Dart could go within the top 24.

Position of New Orleans Saints first drafted player: Quarterback (+350 at Caesars Sportsbook)

Carr was recently announced with a shoulder injury that could keep him out this coming season. The Saints should have their pick of any QBs not named Cam Ward. As of mid-draft week, it doesn't seem like Sanders will be taken in the top five. That should give New Orleans the options of Sanders or Dart at No. 9. If someone does select Sanders early, the Saints might even feel more pressured to grab a QB.

Position of Washington Commanders first drafted player: Wide receiver (+1000 at FanDuel Sportsbook)

With Washington acquiring Deebo Samuel this offseason, many people may not figure the Commanders to draft a wide receiver. But four of Washington's rostered wideouts are on expiring contracts. It doesn't seem like many receivers will be taken early in this draft, and Washington, selecting 29th in Round 1, could have its choice of some very good weapons to pair with second-year stud QB Jayden Daniels.
