Last race: Aug. 9, 7th
Finish: 8th by 8

Comeback filly in Grade 2 turf route ran super. Lacked speed, near rear behind slow fractions, angled out, smoked final five-sixteenths in 28.28 seconds in a very sharp comeback.

GEOMETRY
Trainer: Jonathan Thomas
Last race: Aug. 10, 2nd
Finish: 1st by 1/2
Beyer: 79
Newly gelded 3-year-old comebacker chased pace in allowance turf mile, won well. Lightly raced, could target Grade 2 Del Mar Derby Aug. 31. He might be very good.

MISS KONA
Trainer: Peter Eurton
Last race: Aug. 10, 5th
Finish: 2nd by 2 1/4
Beyer: 67
Debut 2-year-old filly void of speed, saved ground, angled out, finished willingly, and galloped out well. Promising debut by Union Rags filly who wants a longer distance.

TITANIC THOMPSON
Trainer: Steve Miyadi
Last race: Aug. 10, 8th
Finish: 5th by 4 1/4
Beyer: 72
Cal-bred allowance favorite gunned inside, dueled, shuffled back on turn, reengaged, dueled again inside, faltered. Bad trip by beaten favorite worth following vs. similar.
