Caesars Sportsbook promo: Wednesday First Four odds and preview

Wednesday’s First Four March Madness matchups begin with a 6:40 p.m. ET battle of 16-seeds in Dayton, Ohio. 

Mount Saint Mary's beat Iona in the MAAC Championship to secure its spot in the First Four. The Mountaineers are a strong rebounding team and have four players averaging double-digit scoring.

American, meanwhile, won the Patriot League and has a player in Matt Rogers who averages 17 points per game despite his team playing at one of the slowest paces in the nation.

Thirty minutes after the conclusion of Game 1, 11-seeds Xavier and Texas will battle for the right to advance to the Midwest Region first round. 

A loss to Marquette ended Xavier’s seven-game win streak toward the end of the year. The Musketeers shoot the ball with great accuracy (38.8% 3PT, 79.4% FT) but are average at best on defense.
