The NFC’s sixth-seeded Commanders (13-5), led by rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels, are the divisional round’s surprise entrant.

Washington advanced with a 23-20 wild card win over the third-seeded Tampa Bay Buccaneers as Daniels threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 36 more. It was the franchise’s first postseason win since 2005.
