Commonwealth joins Simply Joking ownership

Simply Joking was most recently second in the Grade 2 Fantasy.

Microshare ownership groups have taken a huge turn in the spotlight in recent Triple Crown seasons, allowing racing fans to experience the thrill of major-event ownership for a nominal cost.

MyRacehorse had pieces of 2020 Kentucky Derby winner Authentic and 2024 Preakness winner Seize the Grey, while Commonwealth was part of the ownership team behind 2023 Derby winner Mage.

Commonwealth was founded in 2021 by Chase Chamberlin and Brian Doxtator and has since had success in major events like the Derby and the 2022 Dubai World Cup, which was won by Country Grammer. Commonwealth now joins the fray for another classic, the Kentucky Oaks, offering shares of Oaks entrant Simply Joking to its members. The Practical Joke filly has won 2 of 3 starts and was most recently second in the Grade 2 Fantasy for Grantley Acres, Ryan Conner, and Berkels0813.
