With Dylan Davis aboard, Stunner, trained by Brad Cox, won Saturday's Tempted at Aqueduct.

Trainer Brad Cox has had a hot hand with 2-year-old fillies this weekend, taking the $150,000 Tempted with Stunner on Saturday at the Belmont meet at Aqueduct, a day after saddling Immersive to victory in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies at Del Mar.

The Tempted was one of three stakes on the card for 2-year-olds, with Studlydoright taking the $150,000 Nashua and Me Governor accounting for the $135,000 Stewart Manor.

Stunner ($5.80) moved to the lead soon after the start of the one-turn mile Tempted as favorite Impulse Buy stumbled at the start and took up a tracking position behind the leader. Stunner proceeded to set fractions of 22.92 seconds for the opening quarter, 45.87 for the half-mile and 1:10.76 for six furlongs. The winner covered the distance on a fast track in 1:36.90.

“She’s a very good gate horse,” winning rider Dylan Davis told the New York Racing Association publicity office. “She broke well in her last start and again today she broke well. I wanted to come out with intent and get her stride well into hand. Right away, I established the lead, and she got very comfortable. The fractions were quick, but she was doing it within herself and she was very happy.”

Stunner won by 3 1/2 lengths over Impulse Buy, while it was another 1 3/4 lengths back in third to The Queens M G.

Stunner is a daughter of Girvin who races for LNJ Foxwoods and Church Street Stable. She has now won 2 of 3 starts for earnings of $152,000. Stunner came into the Tempted off a maiden special weight sprint win for which she earned a Beyer Speed Figure of 86.

Studlydoright wins Nashua

Studlydoright ($9.80) stalked the pace en route to a half-length win over Vekoma Rides in the Nashua. It was another nose back in third to Tony Eclipse, who set fractions of 22.95 seconds for the opening quarter, 46.41 for the half-mile and 1:11.28 for six furlongs. Studlydoright covered the one-turn mile in 1:37.23.

Xavier Perez was aboard the winner for David Hughes and trainer John “Jerry” Robb. Studlydoright, who was supplemented to the Nashua, won the Tremont in June. He is a son of Nyquist.

Me Governor takes Stewart Manor

Me Governor ($9.10) set the pace and held for a three-quarter length win over Annascaul in the Stewart Manor, which was for 2-year-old fillies at six furlongs on the outer turf. It was another 2 3/4 lengths back in third to Yougottahavehope.

Me Governor put up fractions of 22.19 seconds for the opening quarter and 44.66 for the half-mile before covering the distance on firm ground in 1:08.23. She was ridden by Jorge Ruiz.

Carlos David trains Me Governor for Danbro Farms. The winner is a daughter of The Factor.
