As is often the case on stakes programs, driver Dexter Dunn led the way with a hat trick. He captured a filly pace with Capytreach (by Captaintreacherous and bred by Buckstone Land Livestock, paid $2.22 to win) in 1:50 for trainer Tony Dinges and owners Eric Good, West Wins Stable and Mark Dumain, a colt and gelding trot with Dame Good Time (by Chapter Seven and bred by owner John Cummins, paid $2.50 to win) in 1:53 1/5 for trainer Travis Alexander and a colt and gelding pace with Lou Hill (by Sweet Lou, bred by owner Tom Hill, paid $4.14 to win) in 1:50 4/5 for trainer Virgil Morgan Jr.
David Miller also had multiple victories as he captured a filly trot with Black Button (by Tactical Landing and bred by Peninsula Farm, paid $23.04 to win) in 1:55 2/5 for co-owner/trainer Erv Miller and co-owner Robert McCormick and a filly pace with Fearless Bettor (by Betting Line, bred by Anvil And Lace Farm, paid $2.62 to win) in 1:50 4/5 for trainer Tony Dinges and owners William Salmeri and Steve Elliott.
