Four-year-olds took center stage in $50,000 Kentucky Sires Stakes races on Tuesday afternoon at Cumberland Run.
Andy McCarthy won both of the contests for mares, taking the pace with Hers Hungry (by Stay Hungry, bred by All Four Won, paid $7.26 to win) in 1:50 3/5 for trainer Travis Kolaczynski and owners Jeff Dauplaise and Aimee Scheid) and the trot with Railee Something (by International Moni, bred by owner Ron Mersky, paid $2.10 to win) in 1:53 1/5 for trainer Roger Cullipher.
Admiral Hill (by Sweet Lou, bred by Tom Hill, paid $2.94 to win) took the male pace in 1:50 1/5 with Yannick Gingras in the bike for trainer Per Engblom and owner Morrison Racing Stables, and Once In A Lifetime (by Father Patrick, bred by Coyote Wynd Farms, paid $4.02 to win) captured the male trot in 1:55 with Todd McCarthy driving for trainer Jim Campbell and owner Sad Frog Farms.
