Todd McCarthy drove both Gala and Rocksy to victories in their respective $40,000 contests. Gala (by Downbytheseaside and bred by Diamond Creek Farm, paid $2.72 to win) scored in 1:51 2/5 for co-owner/trainer Andrew Harris and co-owners William Pollock and Bruce Areman, while Rocksy (by Boston Red Rocks and bred by owner Rick Berks, paid $9.64 to win) prevailed in 1:53 1/5 for trainer Tony Dinges.
Dinges and Berks also won one of three $40,000 flights for the rookie pacing colts and geldings with Downbythelakeside (by Downbytheseaside and bred by Joe Sbrocco, paid $3.18 to win) with David Miller at the controls in a 1:52 3/5 mile.

Trainer Tony Alagna also had a double, tallying with filly Staying At Tony's (by Stay Hungry and bred by owners Alagna Racing LLC. and Brad Grant, paid $15.52 to win) in 1:53 3/5 with Marvin Luna driving and with colt Treacherous (by Captaintreacherous and bred by owner John Barnard, paid $6.14 to win) in 1:52 with Andy McCarthy in the bike.
Fourbettor (by Bettor's Wish and bred by Randy and Zane Wilt, paid $18.70 to win) captured the remaining colt and gelding section in 1:51 4/5 for driver Joe Bongiorno, trainer Gary Campbell and owner Noah Stanley Jr.
