Gulfstream, Tampa Bay Downs, and Turf Paradise are featured in Wednesday's Playbook.

Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action.

1:15 TAM 2nd SPEIGHT THE SNOW (#3, 8-1) has been training steadily toward her first start of 2025 and he seems to land in a very good spot in terms of race flow, as he'll be looking to come from off the pace and the fractions could well be quick and contested; has yet to run a poor race in his short career and he should be a square price today. -Kenny Peck | Bet this race with DRF Bets

1:45 TAM 3rd VAL'S GAL (#2, 15-1) caught the eye on Opening Day of the meet, closing deceptively well through the lane and then galloping out past the wire; not sure what went wrong in that last one but she was subsequently shelved, and she could be a threat at a price if she returns running for new connections. -Kenny Peck | Bet this race with DRF Bets

2:15 TAM 4th H C HOLIDAY (#10, 12-1) did well to close for the place despite traffic trouble and mild splits two back, and though he was well off the board in his latest that was against much better; eligible to rebound on this class drop, and also given a better pace scenario up front. -Kenny Peck | Bet this race with DRF Bets

2:28 GP 5th NEW DIAMOND (#9, 6-1) returns to turf at a more suitable level after a couple of decent outings sprinting on dirt. Has enough speed to perhaps steal this one if aggressively handled, sent for lead in a field lacking much in the way of any real early speed. -Mike Welsch | Bet this race with DRF Bets

3:00 GP 6th ADMIRAL NELSON (#5, 4-1) the tepid nod returning off the layoff for a tag and as a first time gelding. Got the better of last out MSW winner Bluff in lone local trial. Could prove one to catch. -Mike Welsch | Bet this race with DRF Bets

3:45 TAM 7th MR. FUNTASTICO (#11, 20-1) is on the AE list and thus will need some help getting into the race but given a scratch he will get to run, and he warrants a look based on his pedigree; his dam has produced three other runners, all winners on the turf, including a pair of runners who scored in their debuts on the surface. -Kenny Peck | Bet this race with DRF Bets

3:55 TUP 3rd YANKEE HUMOR (#8, 5-1) draws best for this distance and has never missed the exacta going this distance at 4-2-2-0. This gelding has done all of his winning on this dirt. The layoff is the X factor and this barn is 0 for 14 when returning a horse between 61 and 180 days. Win rider returns and this horse just ran a Beyer top. -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets

4:04 GP 8th BEGANINGREENPOINT (#10, 7-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Welsch). | Bet this race with DRF Bets

5:18 TUP 6th BLUEGRASS FAITH (#1, 10-1) is a hard trier that returns off a freshening. Works are longer and that helps. This gelding exits a key race where 3 of 7 returned to win with figs of 72, 73, and 55 (two more finished 2nd with figs of 69 and 55). This horse loves a shortened sprint at 9-6-1-2 (show bettors awaken). Versatile style just rounds out the appeal. -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets

5:45 TUP 7th ELEGANT BOY (#6, 5-1) is feeling good and just loves it here. We like how he ran well on both the dirt and turf in his last two starts. Class jump helps the price. Second time on this dirt can only help. -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets
