FanDuel promo: First Four Tuesday odds and preview
The First Four is essentially a play-in round for the final four teams to join the 64-team March Madness bracket, which gets underway Thursday.
Tuesday’s First Four matchups are entirely different in composition. St. Francis (PA) and Alabama State were in 34- and 14-year hiatuses from the tournament, while UNC and SDSU each finished as national runner-ups in the last three years.
St. Francis (PA) is efficient on the interior but turns the ball over frequently, while Alabama State struggles shooting the ball but is extremely disruptive on the defensive end.
Meanwhile, UNC is experienced with a strong lead guard in RJ Davis. SDSU is a physical defensive squad with limited offensive abilities, particularly at the free-throw line.
Here’s a look at Tuesday’s First Four schedule.
