Harness: 2025 London Classic Yearling Sale concludes

Roca was the top seller at this year's London Classic Yearling Sale

Cattlewash filly Roca fetched a winning bid of C$190,000 to end up as top seller in the 2025 London Classic Yearling Sale, which concluded on Wednesday afternoon.

Bred by Blair and Erna Corbeil and sold as HIP 202, Roca was consigned by Ashley and Dean Wilson and was purchased by Power Racing Stable. Roca is out of the Rocknroll Hanover mare Rockumentary and is a half-sister to C$344,276 earner This Dragon Rocks and to C$352,506 earner Cusdmagicdragon.

Behind Roca were HIP 183 King Sullivan at C$150,000, HIP 179 Century Nantucket at C$115,000 and HIP 173 Gilcrest Seelster at C$107,000. King Sullivan, a King Of The North colt consigned by the Wilsons, went to Shane Weber, Century Nantucket, a Bettor's Delight colt consigned by Century Springs Farm, was purchased by Rich Stiles and Gilcrest Seelster, a Cattlewash colt consigned by Seelster Farms, was acquired by Lindsey Rankin.

289 yearlings were sold over two days for a total of C$8,798,000 and an average of C$30,442. Both the gross and average were up from 2024's C$7,015,000 and C$28,516.
