Winner's Bet will be another new stallion for Blue Chip Farms in 2025

Winner's Bet 2,1:54 1/5, 3,1:51, 4,1:49 3/5-'24 ($1,307,221), the richest and fastest son of Walner, will stand at Blue Chip Farms in Wallkill, New York, starting with the 2025 breeding season.

Owned by Lindy Farms and Robert Rudolph, and trained by Domenico Cecere and Nancy Takter throughout his career, Winner's Bet is a multiple stakes winner at two, three, and four.

At two, he won the William Wellwood Memorial and Kindergarten Classic. At three, he won the Stanley Dancer, Reynolds, and was the runner-up in the Canadian Trotting Classic. This year at four, he set multiple stakes and track records when winning the Graduate Series (final and two legs), Ceasars Trotting Classic, Charlie Hill Memorial and last month's Breeders Crown Open Trot at the Meadowlands, setting the stakes record.

Domenico Cecere trained and developed the handsome son of Walner at 2 and 3. "From a young age, Winner's Bet showed he had the potential to be a great racehorse. From the first day I sat behind him, I knew he would be a fast and powerful horse by the feeling he gave me. His temperament and great mind make him the complete package, and when you train a great and powerful horse like him, you have the best seat you will ever have," he said.

Nancy Takter, who assumed the training duties earlier this year to prepare for his 4-year-old season, says "It's been a pleasure to train him this year. Not only is he absolutely gorgeous, but also a true gentleman to deal with. He's a very sound horse and great gaited. As the fastest and richest son of Walner, he should be very sought after as a stallion."

Winner's Bet showed his versatility and extreme speed in one of the season's-best performances when he set a track record capturing the Charlie Hill Memorial Trot over the five-eighths-mile Scioto Downs oval in 1:50 4/5f-'24 (trotting his last three-quarters in 1:22 3/5, last half 53 1/5).

Driver Dexter Dunn says, "Winner’s Bet is a beautiful horse with a great gait and attitude. He was simply an awesome trotter to sit behind.”

Blue Chip Farms is looking forward to adding this decorated trotting stallion to their roster and celebrating his influence on the New York program and beyond in the coming years.

Winner's Bet's syndication will be managed by Preferred Equine Marketing, Inc., and Blue Chip Farms. For more Information, contact davereid@preferredequine.com or jbrown@bluechipfarms.com.
