A week's worth of Indiana Sire Stakes racing at Harrah's Hoosier Park wrapped up on Saturday night with a pair of splits for sophomore pacing fillies.

In the first $49,500 split, CC Rockin Rosie (Trace Tetrick) raced in second and third through panels of 26 2/5, 54 4/5 and 1:23 2/5, fanned out for the drive, took the lead in the stretch and won by a length and three-quarters in 1:51 2/5. Heart Song (Marcus Miller) rallied for second and Princess In Pink also finished with pace to grab third.

Ron Burke trains CC Rockin Rosie, a daughter of Rockin Image, for owners Burke Racing Stable LLC., Eleven Star Stables, Frank Baldachino and Beasty LLC. The Duane Miller and Gene Borkholder-bred has a summary of 5-6-0 from 18 tries, has earned $60,565 and paid $11.40 to win.

Tarshish (Marvin Luna) followed in fifth to the 26 3/5 quarter and 57 second half in the other $50,000 flight, then began a first-over attack that carried her into second nearing the 1:24 4/5 three-quarters. In the lane Tarshish sustained her bid to get by heavily-favored Can'ttouchthese (John De Long) and got to the wire a neck to the good over that foe in 1:51 2/5. Angelatyourfeet (Jordan Ross) collected third.

A filly by Luck Be Withyou, Tarshish is trained by Walter Haynes Jr. for owner Joanne Samples. Bred by Luckiana Farm, Tarshish is a six-time winner from 14 outings, has put away $190,505 and returned $6.60 to win.
