Wet weather, a sloppy track and seven stout foes weren't going to deter the hottest horse in North America as On To Norway marched first-over to his 22nd consecutive victory in the $49,200 Bally's Randy for sophomore trotting colts and geldings on Friday (Nov. 21) at Harrah's Hoosier Park.
With John De Long aboard and the bettors backing him as the 1-20 favorite, On To Norway floated off the wings and was away fourth on the first turn with Karinchak (Jordan Ross) trotted atop the field to a blistering 26 4/5 opening quarter in the slop. Karinchak rated the half in 56 2/5 when On To Norway vacated the cones and began to loom large first-over. On To Norway moved into second with the second choice, Gimpanzee Dancer (Marcus Miller), following his cover around the final turn as Karinchak led to three-quarters in 1:25 4/5.
The trotters spun into the stretch and On To Norway began to assert himself, surging to the front-end with Gimpanzee Dancer angling off his back to take a shot at snapping the streak. On To Norway countered with a 27 1/5 final quarter, trotting away from the challenge and crossing the wire 2 3/4 lengths clear in 1:53 1/5. Gimpanzee Dancer was second, with Siesta Sandman (Trace Tetrick) getting up for third, 5 3/4 lengths back of the winner.
Ron Burke trains On To Norway, who has banked $612,444 on the year for owners Burke Racing Stable, Frank Baldachino, Black & White Stable and Michael Rosenthal. Bennett Farms of MI bred the Muscle Massive-One Class Act gelding who has won 26 of 32 lifetime and is the winningest horse in North America in 2025, having not tasted defeat since his 3-year-old debut on April 3.

The De Long/Burke combination also teamed up to win the $27,750 second division of the Bally's Randy for 3-year-old pacing colts and geldings with Harrisburg Heist ($2.40, 1:50 3/5) before De Long teamed up with wife Tabby to take the $51,000 filly pace with Can'ttouchthese ($6.80, 1:50 3/5), who steamrolled to her third straight stakes win in the finale.
Leading driver Trace Tetrick put on display why he is en route to his 13th consecutive title at Hoosier, winning six of 13 on the program, including a pair of Bally's Randy stakes splits. Tetrick was a front-end winner in the $28,050 first division for 3-year-old pacing colts and geldings with Extra Suds ($4.60, 1:50 2/5) for trainer Virgil Morgan Jr., as well as taking the lone $47,700 division for 3-year-old trotting fillies in a 7 1/2 length romp with Divine Thing ($3.40, 1:54 3/5) for trainer Steve Carter.
Tetrick's other winners on the night came with Shamwow ($4, 1:50) for Walter Haynes Jr., Im Skinnydipin N ($4.20, 1:51 3/5) for Tyler George, Higher Ground ($5.20, 1:52) for Michael Hitchcock and Yourwishisgranted ($3, 1:51 4/5) for Matt Rheinheimer.
Racing for the week concludes on Saturday (Nov. 22) with a 14-race program set to get underway at 5:30 p.m. (EST). Millionaire mares Kobe's Gigi (race one) and M-M's Dream (race six) will make their final career starts and be honored in the winner's circle after their respective races.
