Odds On Platinum added another stakes triumph to her list in 2024 thanks to a 1:51 1/5 decision in Friday night's $100,000 USS Indianapolis Memorial for 3-year-old filly pacers at Harrah's Hoosier Park.
Also an Ontario Sires Stakes Super Final champion, in addition to her tallies in James M. Lynch Memorial and Courageous Lady, Odds On Platinum (Louis Roy) blasted out from post one and made Seaside Diva (Chris Page), the winner of her Ohio Sires Stakes Super Final, work past a 25 4/5 opening quarter to clear. Seaside Diva then got to the half in 54 3/5 as Pass Line (David Miller) began a first-over move from sixth, tracked by Dandy's Mercy (Kyle Wilfong).
Seaside Diva maintained the top spot at the 1:23 3/5 three-quarters, but Pass Line had made her way into second on the rim at that marker, and sustained her bid into the lane to take a narrow advantage. However, Odds On Platinum had all sorts of room in the passing lane in the stretch and vaulted past Pass Line, then went on to score by a length and a quarter. Teelatini (Trace Tetrick) and Lets Go Endofaera (John De Long), who were both shuffled past the half, had to settle for closing well for second and third, respectively.

"I raced against her all summer long in Toronto, and I kind of knew, especially with this track here with the open stretch, that it was probably the best set-up for her," Roy remarked. "She likes to sit close, but she's better off a helmet than on the front. To be able to follow Chris there was probably the biggest help for her, but she did it pretty easy."
A daughter of Bettor's Delight bred by Hanover Shoe Farms, Odds On Platinum is trained by Dr. Ian Moore and owned by Let It Ride Stables Inc. and Odds On Racing. This was her ninth win from 30 career starts, she has now earned $823,119 and she paid $5.60 to win as the 9-5 second choice.
