Jockey Club elects 10 new members

Thoroughbred owner Peter Brant owns Payson Park training center in Florida.

The Jockey Club has elected 10 new members, including the high-profile owner Peter T. Brant, the organization announced on Monday. 

Brant, who has had two separate stints as a leading owner in the sport, is the founder of White Birch Paper Company and owns Payson Park training center in Florida. He is active as a magazine publisher, art collector, and film producer, and was the captain of the White Birch polo team from 1979-2016.  

Other members elected include: 

- Craig Bernick, the president and chief executive officer of Glen Hill Farm, a breeding and racing operation based in Florida; 

- Boyd T. Browing, the president and chief executive officer of Fasig-Tipton Corporation since 2008; 

- Case Clay, the founder and owner of Case Clay Thoroughbred Management who is also a board member of Keeneland and Breeders’ Cup; 

- Dennis Drazin, a New Jersey owner and breeder who is the president and chief executive officer of Darby Development, which operates Monmouth Park; 

- Marette Farrell, a leading bloodstock agent originally from Ireland; 

- Jonathan Green, the co-owner and general manager of D.J. Stable; 

- Andrew Moore, the general manager for racing of FanDuel Group, which owns the major racing broadcaster FanDuel TV, previously known as TVG; 

- Dean Reeves, the owner of Reeves Thoroughbred Racing stable and Two Springs Farm in Florida; and 

- Bill Strauss, a prominent Thoroughbred owner based in Southern California who is a board member of Del Mar Thoroughbred Club.
