Megan Makin Money back to six furlongs

Megan Makin Money returns to the six-furlong distance of her last win for Friday’s third race, an $8,000 starter allowance for fillies and mares that carries a claiming option of $16,000.

Megan Makin Money is coming off a runner-up finish in a first-level allowance for Florida-breds at 5 1/2 furlongs. Before the start, she won at this level and distance by a dominating 4 1/4 lengths. Emisael Jaramillo, who was aboard, has the mount from post 4.

Prado agent for Rojas

Jockey Renzo Rojas, who is from Peru, won his first race in the United States last Sunday at Gulfstream, aboard Sultan the Great. Rojas is a winner of more than 800 races in Peru, according to a press release from Gulfstream.

The retired Hall of Fame rider Edgar Prado is the agent for Rojas.

“This has been my dream since becoming a jockey in Peru,” the 25-year-old Rojas told Gulfstream of winning in the U.S.
