Pink Bomb was one of Tyler Buter's New York Sire Stakes winners on Sunday afternoon

Driver Tyler Buter guided Pink Bomb and My Debt Collecter, two daughters of Chapter Seven, to victories in a pair of $82,500 New York Sire Stakes divisions for 3-year-old trotting fillies on Sunday afternoon at Saratoga Casino Hotel.

The complexion of the first split changed before the start when favorites Sonmar Pond (Brett Beckwith) and Sunday's Brunch (Phil Fluet) both made breaks. That left Pink Bomb, Calculus Risk (Wally Hennessey) and Devious Babe (Andy Miller) to decide things, and Pink Bomb pressed on to take the top spot away from Calculus Risk beyond the 28 1/5 quarter.

Pink Bomb would go on to reach the half in 57 4/5 and the three-quarters in 1:27, and although Calculus Risk took a two-wide shot at her once before three-quarters and again on the final bend, it was to no avail as Pink Bomb kicked away to score by 5 1/2 lengths in 1:56. Calculus Risk kept second from Devious Babe.

John Butenschoen trains Pink Bomb for co-owner/breeder Crawford Farms and co-owner Heather Marshall. Pink Bomb is now four-for-four in her career, has earned $61,750 and paid $12.00 to win as a 5-1 offering.

They were four-across the track on the first turn for the lead in the other flight, but Royal Mission (Scott Zeron) forged her way to the point late on the bend, then yielded to a two-wide My Debt Collecter after the 28 3/5 quarter. After she got command, My Debt Collecter was well-rated through middle-half panels of 58 and 1:27 on her way to a 1 1/2 length victory in 1:55 4/5. Royal Mission, who was the sire stakes champion over My Debt Collecter for this group in 2024, came to the outside on the final bend but wasn't able to gain on the winner and had to settle for second, and Seventh Gen (Jeff Gregory) advanced from fifth to third in the back-half of the mile.

Breeders David McDuffee, Mel Hartman and Little E LLC. own My Debt Collecter and she is trained by Nifty Norman. She has compiled a record of 5-5-1 from 12 appearances, has banked $307,496 and returned $3.20 to win.
