Sneaky Good remains unbeaten in Sandpiper

Trained by Brad Cox, Sneaky Good stay unbeaten in Saturday's Sandpiper at Tampa Bay Downs.

Sneaky Good remained unbeaten in two starts Saturday, when she rallied from off the pace for a 2 3/4-length win over Blazing Brat in the $125,000 Sandpiper for 2-year-old fillies at Tampa Bay Downs. It was another four lengths back in third to Evolution.

Sneaky Good ($4.80) settled off the pace set by Techstar, who led through an opening quarter in 21.71 seconds. Evolution took over through a half-mile in 45.11. With Antonio Gallardo aboard for trainer Brad Cox, Sneaky Good came for the leader at the top of the lane, overtook her, and went on to cover the six furlongs in 1:10.70.

Sneaky Good came into the Sandpiper off a maiden special weight win in October at Keeneland. She is a daughter of Into Mischief and the stakes-winning mare Gale. Sneaky Good is owned by the partnership of NK Racing and L N J Foxwoods.

Sneaky Good earned $60,000 for her win in the Sandpiper to lift her career bankroll to $124,790.
