Nice as Pie, Awesome Treat, and B G Warrior, all stakes winners at Turfway, meet again in an $86,000 allowance on Saturday night for fillies and mares sprinting six furlongs.
Nice as Pie has never missed the board in seven outings at Turfway, including a pair of stakes wins last year. In her three outings here this season, she was third in the Holiday Inaugural behind Awesome Treat; finished second in the Wishing Well, in which Awesome Treat was third; and then won at this allowance level last out.
B G Warrior, a three-time stakes winner at Turfway, is looking to get back on track after finishing 10th in the Holiday Inaugural and fourth after leading early in the Wishing Well.
