All but two horses were covered in the nightcap, and Miriam’s Fire, a first-time starter from the barn of Mike Maker, was one of them. Ridden by Dylan Davis, Miriam’s Fire held off a late run from Panache to score the upset as the longest shot on the board.

Friday’s pick six starts on race 4 and includes three allowance races – one on dirt, two on turf. With the exception of the first leg, which has seven horses, the remaining legs of the pick six all came up with fields of 10 horses or more.
