The Last Martini and Shes A Streaker, a pair of 1-9 shots, were the winners of two $58,000 New York Sire Stakes contests for 3-year-old pacing fillies on Saturday evening at Vernon Downs.

Coming off a third-place finish in the Fan Hanover at Woodbine Mohawk Park last Saturday, The Last Martini moved from the pocket to the point beyond the 26 1/5 quarter in the first split. From there, she clicked off a half of 56 seconds and three-quarters in 1:24 4/5 for driver Doug McNair, then slammed the door with a 26 1/5 final kicker, defeating pocket-sitter Send It Down Slim (Ray Schnittker) by three-quarters of a length. Fansville (Tyler Buter) got third.

Jared Bako trains the Crawford Farms-bred daughter of Huntsville for owner Glenview Livestock Ltd. The Last Martini has a summary of 6-5-2 from 14 starts, has put away $605,099 and paid $2.10 to win.
