Race 1: F&M NW15801 in last 5 starts Pace

(2) ONE LAST WISH scored impressively first out for the Gillis barn after arriving from Canada and she may have more to offer as she steps up to face a bit tougher. (5) MY RED SEA is a fresh face coming from Ohio to join the Bongiorno barn and she makes just her second start of the year after banking almost $165K in 2024; Bartlett has the drive. (8) CHIAPANECAS has two wins and three narrow defeats in her last five and must be considered again despite having the eight hole.

Race 2: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot

(1) CANTKEEPMIASECRET has been off three months and it's three weeks since her qualifier but she's a proven winner and lands the rail catching a soft field. Maybe she's ready to roll down the road. (2) ICE BREAKERS K was a close third last week in $40K claimers and now drops to this level drawing well again; he's been long odds in all recent but may go off the favorite here. (3) ABRUZZO was scratched sick last week but right back in the box; steady sort deserves a look.

Race 3: NW5261 in last 5 starts Pace

(4) BECHERS BROOK A is back at the bottom conditioned level and considering he was claimed for $40K not too long ago he should be showing more than he is; post edge on likely favorite #5 may entice Brennan to get aggressive, like he did two back. (5) VICI is another who is accustomed to facing much better and is way overdue. (1) LORRIM LAKE A has shown little since returning from an extended layoff but he draws the rail again and having a new driver in Holland may get some more out of him.

Race 4: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot

(2) R NO MERCY makes his second start for the Lachance barn after arriving from Ontario and his first try was encouraging; totally reasonable to expect more from this 4YO gelding and he faces a lifeless field. (4) JULA MUSCLE PACK returns to Yonkers for the Engblom barn after a failed try at Pocono and he's beaten better than these in the past. (3) LADY JETER is 0 for the last year-plus but she did show speed last out and gets post improvement.

Race 5: F&M NW10541 in last 5 starts Pace

(5) ZUMA BEACH is perfect in two starts since moving to the Harris barn and adding Lasix. 4YO is lightly raced and faces more seasoned foes but she may just be more talented than these. (2) WAITFOREVER N generally races well when drawn inside so moving in from the eight hole should make her a player. (3) ATREACHEROUS A was a ground-saving third last week. Similar trip can land her a piece.

Race 6: NW10441 in last 5 starts Trot

Interesting race with a shipper into a live barn and a fresh import. (4) SCOTTISH ships in for his Ohio connections and joins the Bongiorno outfit, while getting Gingras to catch drive. Trotter has multiple wins at high levels back home and likely will fit well here. (2) DOROTEA TRIO IT is a fresh European face for the Alexander barn and she sizzled home in that Pocono qualifier. Will she need a start or is she ready to go? If I had those kinds of answers then I could afford that new car I've been eyeing. (5) P CHICO steps up with more to prove but that was a solid win on the front end last week.

Race 7: NW7500 in last 5 starts Trot

(1) BUCKTOBER has looked really sharp in two starts since shipping from Ontario and joining the Bako barn. He faces better here but I think he's up to the task. (3) STREET GOSSIP seems to have gone a bit stale but he makes his second start at this reduced level and has too much class to ignore. (2) RODEO HILL is kind of in the same boat as #3 but drop and post improvement puts him right in the mix.

Race 8: F&M NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) TAKING THE MIKI A has been lightly raced the last couple of years but she's currently in career form for the Cullipher barn; mare faces multiple legit contenders but a repeat of last week's race gives her a real chance, and at better odds than her last win. (2) FRONT PAGE STORY gets post relief off a couple of no-chance trips and she was a winner in the invite just four starts back from an inside post. (5) PROMISELAND A is another import making her U.S. debut, this one for the Oakes outfit. Looks ready off those two Pocono qualifiers but catches a tough field.

Race 9: NW16951 in last 5 starts Trot

(7) ALL WRAPPED UP makes his second start in 2025 off a 10-win campaign a year ago. $500K lifetime earner was not a major presence last week but he drops a class and does have the speed to overcome the poor draw. (5) CHULO has been rock-solid in his local return but I still don't fully trust him. That said, from this spot the Engblom trainee is a major player. (1) VINNY DE VIE was overmatched in his seasonal debut but now drops and could have benefitted from that start.

Race 10: F&M NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(3) JIVE DANCING A was awful towards the end of last season but she rejoins the Devita barn and was a winner in that Pocono qualifier. Bartlett's choice over an Engblom trainee. (2) CHILLIN BYTHE POOL draws well again and figures to up close to the pace with Holland driving. (4) MCMARKLE SPARKLE is difficult to endorse on top with that current form and Bartlett bailing. Off the pace tonight?

Race 11: F&M NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace

(5) MISS DOTTIE MAE has speed and a switch back to Bartlett; seems overdue for a win and finds a soft enough spot. (3) IDEAL COVER has been nowhere in her last three but she was facing better and two of them were from outside posts. (2) TWO PISTOL ANNIE was 25 cents on the dollar last week and did prevail; Tritton trainee has Gingras again as she looks to repeat.
