Race 1: NW15011 in last 5 starts Trot
(7) BRAVO ANGEL S got it done at odds-on from the outside post last week and gets to stay at the same level as she still fits the NW8 lifetime condition. If she makes the front I think she can hold these off again. (2) UNEVERGONNAGETHIS has been much improved in his last couple despite losing his last as the heavy favorite and he currently looks better than the rest of these. (4) TEXSONG SOPRANO is likely on the move early which could make things interesting into that first turn; looks like stamina has been an issue recently though.

Race 2: Blue Chip Matchmaker Pace Leg #3
(2) MILLWOOD BLISS N has been a victim of the trip in seemingly every start since arriving in the U.S. but from a decent post in a short six-horse affair there shouldn't be any excuse for this Nifty Norman trainee; gets it done. (1) PROMISELAND A is another recent Down-Under import and she's done little in two local starts but landing the rail gives new driver Bartlett an opportunity to get more aggressive. (5) TARAPASTA have been faced with two outside posts in the series so at least there's fewer rivals inside of her tonight.

Race 3: Blue Chip Matchmaker Pace Leg #3
(4) TALK CURDY TO ME has been aggressively handled by Todd McCarthy through two legs of the series and has failed to convert but tonight she may not see the front early and perhaps she's better off that way. Mare promises to be a fair price with the two to her inside figuring to attract the most attention. (2) LIT DE ROSE picked up her first win in round two with a late burst and last year's champ will be right in the mix again. (3) ROCKET DEO failed last week at 1/9 and was outgamed in round one at 3/5. Clearly the lone 4YO in here needs more at crunch time.
Race 4: F&M NW5901 in last 5 starts Pace
(8) JIVE DANCING A is one of the classiest mares in here and she was able to cross over to the lead last week from the outside post. There doesn't appear to be a ton of speed to her inside and I'm hopeful Zeron takes another shot off the gate. (4) OKINAWA BEACH A was second best in a similar field last start and is now 0 for 8 this year but still looms as a solid candidate for the top spot. (3) KAIRAKICONFIDNTL N has a win in this class from a similar spot back in February.
Race 5: Blue Chip Matchmaker Pace Leg #3 - $20K Gtd. Pick 5
(3) HIGH FLYIN' FILLY turned things around in a big way last week as the Burke trainee rolled by from the pocket; she's got speed inside of her but if Gingras can cross over early she's got the goods to repeat. (5) SILK CLOUD A has been one of the more consistent mares over the last couple of seasons and she can perform from on or off the pace. (7) BEAUTIFUL SEASIDE is two-for-two in the series with a couple of upset scores and amazingly she's likely to go off one of the longer prices in here again.
Race 6: Blue Chip Matchmaker Pace Leg #3
(4) AARDIE B MIKI N is perfect since arriving in the U.S. with a couple of big off-the-pace rallies. Bartlett sticks with the Engblom trainee over #1 and looks very tough here as she looks to stay undefeated. (1) WALKIN ON SUNSHINE faltered at five cents on the dollar last week and now she loses the leading driver; Zeron gets the call and he can be aggressive from this spot. (5) GRACE HILL has Dave Miller in the bike again and she's flashed good early speed in the first two rounds.
Race 7: F&M NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) CHIAPANECAS has three wins and four seconds in seven tries this year and she was right there on the wire in those four losses; Engblom trained and Gingras co-owned 4YO lands a good post and the race goes through her tonight. (1) TWIN B SUNKISSED steps up off a win and the Burke trainee looks to be rounding into peak form; Dave Miller has the catch drive. (5) PASS AND STOW makes her 4YO debut and first start on Lasix off a decent tightening qualifier at The Meadowlands; I'm thinking she may need a start or two to catch up to her rivals who are already established this season.
Race 8: NW10526 in last 5 starts Trot
(5) WINDSONG PIONEER drops down to a more competitive level and shows leaving the gate on occasion. Perhaps he can make the lead or sit close up, which always gives you a chance. (4) VINNY DE VIE has been just okay in four starts this year, also lands a spot to be aggressive. (1) CROWN MONARCH finished with mild trot after being basically uninvolved in his local return; always have to respect the connections.
Race 9: F&M NW13294 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) HURRIKANE LADY LOU has raced very well in her two starts after returning from vacation and though she's generally an off-the-pace commodity if the pace is honest enough maybe she reaches. (1) FRONT PAGE STORY and (4) DRAGONS LUCKY LADY both face softer and figure to be the frontrunners. #1 actually beat a better class two back before being in a tough spot last week at The Meadowlands.
Race 10: NW7850 in last 5 starts Trot
Interesting trot race with three recent European shippers. (3) DEMONE DEIVENTI IT started his U.S. career at Pocono, where he flashed solid speed in both races, though his second one he tired badly after being involved in a fast pace. His early foot can translate well here especially with a post edge on most of his main rivals. (7) IMMIGRANT AM S started off in the U.S. and was a winner first start back also over the 5/8's at Pocono. Engblom trainee now gets Bartlett for his local debut and needs to overcome the outside post. (4) DOROTEA TRIO IT completes the imported trifecta and looks like the deserving favorite after he absolutely jogged here last week; overbet?

Race 11: F&M NW8311 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) LUCKY ARTIST A failed to get involved until it was too late last week when sent off as the favorite. Classy 12YO still seems capable of better and I'm hopeful she's driven with a little more urgency tonight. (7) IDEALINFUN drops from the $50K claiming ranks and though she hasn't hit the board in seven tries this year her last couple with Bartlett driving have been better. (5) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP seemed to wake up some recently at Pocono; Zeron drives tonight.
Race 12: NW5000 in last 5 starts Trot
(7) BEERTHIRTY K has always had good speed and has done well in the past with Brennan driving; DiDomenico trainee gets to meet a flat field in the finale and maybe can speed-pop these. (3) FIX A DRINK stayed flat in that qualifier and seems to behave for Gingras, who drives here. (6) KINDA LUCKY LINDY has loads of back class and makes just his second start coming off the bench for the Alexander barn.
