Race 1: F&M NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) HANGON COWGIRL arrives from Ohio to join the Engblom barn so she also gets the leading driver in the bike. This mare went from an 0 for 25 season in 2023 and just over $5K earned to $150K banked in 2024-25 and even won an Open Handicap last season at Northfield. Figures to fit well here. (4) TRUE BLUE HANOVER is better than she's been showing and figures to wake up eventually; class drop can help. (6) FACTORY GIRL was overmatched in the Matchmaker but finished third on last week's drop.

Race 2: NW8396 in last 5 starts Trot
(1) SWISS HOUSE ONFIRE tired in his last two after cutting the mile but he's proven to be a good fit with this type in the past and maybe Siegelman will look for a stalking trip instead. His last win came from off the pace. (3) CREATIVE VENTURE failed in his last two as the odds-on favorite yet he still looks like a live option in here. (4) CAL MILES N SHELL just missed in his last two and overall he's looked better since moving to the Stratton barn.

Race 3: F&M NW22101 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) LLOYD'S LOVES dominated at this level two back then tired under pressure last out with the barn change listed. Holland should be pointed to the front and can take these the distance. (5) MISS DOTTIE MAE gets a touch of class relief and was a winner the last time Bartlett drove. (4) CHIAPANECAS has hit the board in 11 of 12 this year; loses regular driver (and co-owner) Gingras, gets Zeron tonight.
Race 4: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot
(5) LOUS GAMBLER has been racing reasonably well for Lachance and the four-time winner this year faces a pretty camera-shy field tonight. From the midpack post he should be close enough to strike late. (1) ABRUZZO is 1 for 16 but has been a safe and consistent presence; has speed from the rail and looks like the default favorite in here. (4) WINDSONG PIONEER is another who figures to be forwardly placed and that puts him in the hunt.
Race 5: NW10421 in last 5 starts Trot
(2) TACHYON has been a consistent check-earner all season but he's yet to recapture that form that earned him over $170K in 2024. He faces a field with plenty of question marks and may not need to step it up that much to get it done. (3) DRAW THE LINE added Lasix last week but she faltered late after setting a decent pace; Lachance trainee is still winless at Yonkers but does look like a contender. (1) TORRONE stopped badly last out but he is right back in to go which I'll assume is a good sign; faces softer.
Race 6: F&M NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(6) KATIES UP has been showing steady improvement as she inches closer to her first seasonal win; getting Bartlett back in the bike is big. (4) LAURIE LEE just missed against a class better two back and this veteran is a speed threat, especially with Holland. (2) VIBRANCE has caught fire for the Burke barn but she loses her regular driver tonight.
Race 7: NW15000 in last 5 starts Trot
(1) NOTTINGHAM transitioned from the NW lifetime ranks to face more seasoned foes and he raced well to be second best to a strong winner; Bako trainee can certainly build off that effort. (7) CACTUSTOTHECLOUDS has been a speed demon of late and he too steps up a notch into the NW9 AE condition after blowing away his rivals last week. (2) DIRE STRAITS makes just his fifth start of the year but has won twice already and picks up Bartlett.
Race 8: F&M Invitational Pace
(4) SILK CLOUD A figured to be firing out in the Matchmaker final but could not sustain a second move after she was shuffled a couple of spots. Pete Tritton trainee is back in the overnight wars and she figures to be sent off the gate again and can lead or stalk just in behind. (2) PROMISELAND A gave a pretty good accounting of herself in the Matchmaker series and gets post relief after rallying mildly last week. (7) WALKIN ON SUNSHINE got back down to business last out after that break in the rich stakes final. Will she have too far to come from her outside post assignment?

Race 9: F&M NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) LYDEO moves all the way in to the rail, has early speed and picks up the leading driver; lots to like from this spot (except the price). (7) KISS MY CHEEK has something to prove as she gets a bit of a class test but her last two were awesome. (4) UPTOWN HANOVER just missed in round one of the Matchmaker but hasn't made much of an impression since then. Clearly this is a spot to get more involved.
Race 10: F&M NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) JILLIAN JIGGS hasn't done a whole lot since she was claimed a couple of months ago, but she enters a new barn, drops to the lowest conditioned class and faces a pretty stale group. Maybe that's enough to get it done. (5) COWGIRL LILLY is capable of an alert getaway for new driver Mark Macdonald; figures to be a healthy price. (1) KAT is dropping and finally getting post relief but will that be enough to get it done? Not very attractive with little current form at a low morning line.
