2025 MEET STATS: 141 - 449 / $834.50 (-$63.50)
BEST BETS: 23 - 40 / $75.00 (-$5.00)
BEST BET: STREET HAWK N (8th)
SPOT PLAY: TWIN B DELUXE (2nd)
Race 1: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) OURMATEMENKO N sat in with some traffic issues last week after finishing second in his North American debut. Import for the Stratton barn has something to prove but with the post relief he deserves the chance to convert. (7) BLANK STARE dug in when needed last start and he's normally accustomed to facing better; Bartlett drives again. (4) ROYAL DESIRE dominated in his last two races against NW lifetime foes so this is generally considered a rise in class but he deserves serious consideration despite losing Stratton to the top choice.

Race 2: NW15001 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) TWIN B DELUXE is by far the most accomplished of these over the last couple of seasons and he steps up again looking for four straight. Zeron can stalk the speed and roll by late. (1) HICKFROMFRENCHLICK upset last start and he's the controlling speed from the rail but he'll really need to dig in late in order to repeat. (3) ITALIAN LAD N is 0 for 17 this year but has been hitting the board with consistency lately; he goes from claimers to this conditioned event and seems to fit well with these on paper.

Race 3: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(2) MULLINAX is not the most prolific winner but he missed a nose three back from a similar spot and he always offers value. He may need a smooth trip for his best results but is worth a look in this competitive field. (5) CENTURY ENDEAVOR failed to get involved in his first start for these connections but he gets to move in a couple of spots and keeps Bartlett. (1) AROUND MIDNIGHT blew up the board last week at 51/1 and he lands the rail again. Long-time Yonkers regular Dan Dube gets the call again.
Race 4: 3-6YO $30,000 Claiming Pace
(2) TOPVILLE SOMEBEACH served notice two back that he was ready to win and he did not disappoint last week with a nice wire-to-wire score. With the post edge on his main rivals Bartlett figures to take control again at some point and look to double up. (8) FLIP MY CHIP is back at the proper level and can fire from the gate so the eight hole may not stop him from getting involved in the early stages. (6) THAT DOG WILL HUNT has been good all season at this level for multiple barns; 13 for 15 in the money in 2025.
Race 5: NW35751 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) SMIFFY'S TERROR hasn't done a whole lot wrong since arriving from Down Under and last week he was second best to the streaking Dunkin' in that 1:51 1/5 mile. He starts from a reasonable post which gives regular driver Siegelman some tactical options and he should be an honest price. (2) FINVARRA A dominated in his last non-Borgata effort and prior to that series he was a regular contender in the weekly Invite. (1) CARABAO A sat the rail and had good pace last out; should be in line for a similar trip.
Race 6: 3-6YO Open Pace
(1) VERDUN is back in the overnight wars after the former claimer made over $140K in the Borgata series; Lachance trainee lands the rail in this open draw and is clearly the one to defeat. (5) BINGE ON YANKEE was buried in the Borgata final but obviously he was good enough in prior efforts to make the race; Gillis trainee can be forwardly placed off the gate. (2) BLUE LOU was a winner the last time Bartlett drove.
Race 7: Invitational Pace
(3) HEMSWORTH N took the Borgata consolation in off-the-pace style but he can also go to the front if needed; He's likely to be stalking tonight with major speed inside of him and could prove to be freshest late. (1) CHASE H HANOVER gave it a great try in the Borgata final and is the clear one to catch again. (5) DUNKIN' has taken two straight in very impressive style; can he remain in top form for a third consecutive week?

Race 8: NW20001 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) STREET HAWK N was certainly ready to roll in his second U.S. start as he was a sharp two-move winner from the eight hole. Import must be followed as he moves up the class ladder. (2) THE IDEAL DANCER was a close third last out and beat similar three back. Obvious contender especially from the inside post. (1) LUCAPELO A is just 1 for 13 at Yonkers but has been close in many of these efforts and figures to be in striking range tonight.
Race 9: $50,000 Claiming Pace
(2) SCRIBBLERS could not sustain to the wire after an uncovered attack last week but that's four consecutive live efforts since the Bucci claim and he figures to be an honest price back to Siegelman. (4) PEACE OUT POSSE could not fire from behind dull cover in his latest race where the leader walked and sprinted; prior two efforts he lost by a neck and a nose. (7) TWO FACED gets Bartlett off the claim by the Engblom Empire and just missed last out in a rugged try at the $40K level; that 0 for 16 on the season kind of sticks out, though.
