2025 MEET STATS: 170 - 535 / $967.30 (-$102.70)
BEST BETS: 27 - 49 / $91.60 (-$6.40)
BEST BET: ALWAYS A THRILL (7th)
SPOT PLAY: TOBINS CHESTER (2nd)
Race 1: $40,000 Claiming Pace
(6) CENTURY ENDEAVOR has taken his last two in game style and his early speed has been a big weapon recently. Expect this veteran to be firing off the gate again. (1) WALKINSHAW N is in for a tag after coming up big as a longshot in his last couple and the barn is going well now. Rail draw makes him a player. (3) LYRICAL GENIUS A has been right there in every recent start at this level except for one hopeless try from the eight hole. Stratton trainee is one of the other major players in here.

Race 2: NW10851 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) TOBINS CHESTER has put in two solid runner-up efforts for the Daguet barn after arriving from Canada so it's safe to say he's ready to win. Note he's 21 for 41 in his career so he does have a winning habit. (3) TWO FACED drops and gets significant post relief for top connections. (4) KINGSVILLE is back up facing a bit better but is in top form.

Race 3: NW16911 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) SCRIBBLERS has raced well enough to win in all recent efforts but has just been coming up a bit short. He's been lucky with the post draws and from another inside spot he figures to be right there again. (6) VICI successfully dropped and popped last week with a well-rated win; he bumps back up a notch but with an alert getaway has a chance to repeat. (5) OURMATEMENKO N has been relatively "live" since arriving in the U.S. but needs to show a bit more late; using underneath again.
Race 4: NW30101 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) CHURCHVIEWFRANKL IR had a couple of decent moments in the Borgata series and was stubborn last week when dropped in class though that loss left him at just 1 for 15 on the season. Midpack post gives regular driver Holland a few options and he does seem capable here at a price with the right setup. (8) STREET HAWK N has been impressive since arriving from Down Under but he loses his regular driver and is stuck outside. He did win from the eight hole two back but these are better. (1) SURFSIDE BEACH tripped out from the rail in his latest win; he does step up and will look for a similar journey.
Race 5: 3-6YO $30,000 Claiming Pace
(2) CAMOUFLAGE MONEY has been bouncing around to different barns but has performed for all of them; gelding stays at the winning level looking for three straight. (1) ALWAYSCUTTINSCHOOL was off some time prior to last week's race and gave it a good try at over 30/1; now moves to the rail. (3) HELLO GORGEOUS bumped up to this level in his Yonkers return and charged late to win; he may need another good trip to take another.
Race 6: NW23871 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) KOPI LUWAK went a long trip in his debut for Burke and can be excused for tiring. He gets slight post improvement, a switch to the catch-driving Scott Zeron and deserves another chance. (2) BLUE LOU is the one to beat dropping and drawing well for the top driver/trainer but he's just 1 for 13 this year and will be a short price. (8) SOHO DOW JONES A was caught in a fast mile last Sunday at Philly and will appreciate the class relief but is stuck in post eight; maybe he gets in there at a price.
Race 7: 3-6YO Open Pace
Will the eight-hole assignment slow down (8) ALWAYS A THRILL? Probably not. Devita trainee deserves top billing. (2) AARDIES FLASH N finds another good post here and could be saving ground with an eye on finishing well. (4) WHY NOT NOW is inconsistent at times but we know the ability is there.
Race 8: Invitational Pace
(3) AMERICAN DEALER N makes his way back up to the top level and he's got the back class to compete here. Toscano veteran was a strong second in his last two and draws reasonably well. (4) HUNTINTHELASTDOLAR is back from a failed try in an invite at Philly and the Borgata finalist looms the one to beat as the likely favorite. (2) SOHO FIRESTONE A dominated the age-restricted Open last out and now moves inside with the open draw; import loses his regular driver, however.

Race 9: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) GENTLE GIANT has done very little of late but look at the levels he's been racing at and look at those recent posts. He deserves a chance to show what he can do from a much better spot. (2) MULLINAX was a bit disappointing off the Engblom claim so we'll see if he can bounce back. (3) HUNGRY ANGEL BOY has talent but has also been lightly raced; he was in the Borgata not too long ago and last week was stuck in the eight hole.
Race 10: $30,000 Claiming Pace
(7) BILL HALEY N had problems over at Pocono and was forced to requalify, then he put in a sharp 1:53 effort with Bartlett, and he drives the veteran again. Outside post offers value. (5) MAXIMUS RED A stepped up off the Victoria Stratton reclaim and wasn't bad last week. Maybe Jordan goes for a more aggressive approach tonight. (1) AMERITRIC faces older rivals tonight but has the benefit of the rail.
