Race 1 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace
(2) CLEVELAND B MIKI enters off an "injured" scratch but won the last time he was in this class on 3-20 and was a gaining third against open $25,000 claimers most recently. (3) SIP OF BOURBON went a long way on the lead from post eight last week before he wound up second. He gets significant post relief here and was George Brennan's choice of several horses. (5) DONTTELLMENOW has hit the board in five of his last seven tries and shows a pair of victories at this level on April 10 and May 3.

Race 2 - 15000CLM Pace
(1) LINCOLN BOULEVARD was handled aggressively last Saturday at the Meadowlands and wound up third. I thought that was a good effort, especially since he battled with a foe for an extended period of time in the backstretch, and he gets post relief off that effort. (4) METAMAN went down the road to tally in this class last Saturday and has been out of the top three just once in his last five outings overall. (3) I'M J BEE N is on a lengthy streak of finishes in the trifecta and makes his third start out of the Cory Stratton stable.

Race 3 - 20000CLM Pace
(1) JUST PLAIN LOCO qualified fine down at Harrah's Philadelphia behind world champion Ruthless Hanover and was facing better before a brief spell on the bench. I'll use from post one and with Brennan in the bike again. (3) DELIGHTFUL TERROR disappointed in a fifth-place effort last Saturday but debuts for new connections off a claim here and did win against $20,000 claimers two back. (2) VIVA LAS VEGAS N drops a notch and moves inside on the gate a pair of positions. He shows a victory against $25,000 claiming company as recently as the 17th of April.
Race 4 - F&M NW2/33604LT Pace
(3) NORTHERN HALO comes south from Woodbine Mohawk Park with three straight victories in their NW3 class. It looks like Lasix has made a big difference for her, and I'll look for her to strike at Yonkers in her first outing for new connections. (1) MISS PERIGNON N doesn't own a win yet in the U.S. but has hit the board in four consecutive tries and starts from post one tonight. (4) MARTINI STAR should have picked up some confidence with an easy tally over NW2 foes at Tioga last Friday and adds Brennan in the bike here.
Race 5 - 15000CLM Pace
I'm going to give (3) THIRD EDITION another chance here as he had pace in traffic two back and then wound up first-over last week. I think he just needs a smoother journey tonight to find the winner's circle. (2) MEMPHISTENNESSEE N remains winless in 2025 but has finished second in three of four starts since he dropped down to this class. (7) WAIMAC ATTACK N drew poorly here but hasn't been outside the exacta since he returned to action and comes off another victory in a $15,000 claiming event a week ago.
Race 6 - NW7500L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Pace
(1) JM'S FINALTREASURE tallied in a quick mile at The Meadows last time out, and although this should be a class hike, this also doesn't look like the toughest NW7500L5 race. (6) CAVIART SARGENT continued to draw poorly but he has gained ground in the final quarters of his last two efforts. (2) KIMBLE A exits a fast race over at the Meadowlands and does own a victory against NW5000L5 foes at Yonkers as recently as 4-1.
Race 7 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races or 90000LT Trot
(4) IM AN ANDOVER closed with trot in a second-place finish in the corresponding class to this one at Harrah's Philadelphia last Thursday and has had success at Yonkers before also. (5) MEETMEATTHEBAR was second at this level two back and managed a fourth last Saturday despite a difficult trip from post eight. She gets to move inside on the gate here. (2) BRONZER broke when last seen a couple of weeks ago but his form before that was strong and he gets significant post relief.

Race 8 - NW10696L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5 Pace
(1) LYONS STEEL can be a hit-or-miss type of horse but this is a very winnable spot for him as he starts from the pole and at a level he rarely drops to. (2) SPLASH BROTHER gets post relief and a class drop here. I would expect that means he'll be handled more aggressively than he has been in his last two appearances. (3) WALKINSHAW N steps up from the NW7500L5's but has a second and a win in his last two trips behind the gate and hit the board against NW10000L5's back on April 8.
Race 9 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot
(5) STAR HAIRDRESSER posted a win in this class on 4-30 and then has two excuses since - a break and then a bad post. He drew mid-pack here for a stable that can have one ready to fire at any time, and I'll swing. (1) GILLYS DE VIE led most of the mile last week but got picked off late and had to settle for second. He did win at this level on the 23rd of April and got the nod from Brent Holland over my top pick. (7) SHE'S SPICY starts from a bad post but was second last week to a foe who has won both of his local starts and hails from the stable of the leading trainer.
