SPOT PLAY-MANHATTAN ARTIST (5th)
Race 1 - 3-5YO 20000CLM Pace
(4) THAT DOG WILL HUNT drew much better tonight than he has in his last two tries and was victorious in this class back on October 3. (1) LAST POUND moves in from post five to the pole position and drops as well. The last time he was at this age-restricted claiming level, he was second in a fast mile. (3) IRRESISTIBLE comes south from Rideau Carleton Raceway into a high-percentage barn and has sharp form. He also gets to partner with Jason Bartlett.

Race 2 - 3-5YO 30000CLM Pace
(5) SIP OF BOURBON was a pretty solid third in a NW5000L5 tilt last time. This is his second start out of a high-percentage stable and he gets a driver switch to Yannick Gingras. (3) I AINT NO MACK has won handily two straight times in this class and is the one they'll have to beat again tonight. (2) TWO FACED shows two victories and a pair of seconds at this level, including a tally last Thursday. He's been popular at the claim box, too, and goes for new connections again here.

Race 3 - 40000CLM Trot
(5) MR CONTESTANT finished fourth in one try against $40,000 claimers on 9-12 and returns to Yonkers tonight off three straight wins at Pocono and Monticello. That last victory at Monticello was from last to first in their Open. (2) AUSTRAL HANOVER has prevailed twice in-a-row since switching to the $40,000 claiming class and drew inside again. (1) PC FREE WHEELING has had plenty of success at Yonkers before and moves to the pole position for a new trainer here. She also gets a driver switch to Bartlett.
Race 4 - NAADA Amateur Fall Series Leg #8 Trot
(8) MYCROWNMYKINGDOM landed the far outside here but has been facing better than these at Yonkers and gets a good driver in Tony Beltrami who knows how to get one off the gate. I'll trust he's handled aggressively and use. (1) BACARDI has been racing well in amateur events at Pocono, Freehold, Yonkers and the Meadowlands and starts from the pole. He was in the Open at Monticello most recently. (2) VELOCIRAPTOR rallied to prevail most recently at Harrah's Philadelphia, but it does appear that he'll need some pace to chase given his closing style.
Race 5 - 3-5YO 20000CLM Pace
(7) MANHATTAN ARTIST didn't have any luck at the draw again but was third against age-restricted $30,000 claimers two back and drops tonight. Just ignore his last line a week ago as he was bothered by a spill on the last turn. (2) SOUTH POINT gets to slide down from the 3-5YO $30,000 claiming class and starts from an inside post. He doesn't have a great win record this year but was second two back. (5) COLD CREEK FELIPE has hit the board in three straight outings and in four of his last five tries. He gets away from the sharp I Aint No Mack this time.
Race 6 - 25000CLM Pace
(3) JACK'S LEGEND N gained some ground in the final quarter of a NW7500L5 tilt most recently and makes his second start back after a bit of time off here. He also gets another shot with Bartlett in the bike. (1) KEYSTONE DASH prevailed two straight times against $25,000 claimers back in September and gets significant post relief tonight after he had the six-hole in his last two outings. He also has a driver switch to Brent Holland. (4) DIAMONDBEACH steps up from the $20,000 claimers but does so off a victory. He gets Anthony Napolitano back at the controls this time.
Race 7 - NW20000L5/Winners in the Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5/NW10 PM Races LT/60000CLM Trot
(7) QUEEN OF ALL was in the Invitational when last seen locally, and although she has a poor draw again, hopefully she is handled aggressively or can work out a trip. (6) I GET IT has hit the board in four straight outings, including all three of his tries against NW20000L5 company. He also gets George Brennan back in the bike this time. (5) CANTSTOP YANKEE hikes up from the NW15000L5's but romped on the front-end a week ago for the potent tandem of Bartlett & trainer Per Engblom.

Race 8 - NW30000L5/NW12 PM Races LT/75000CLM Trot
(6) THE HAZELTON prevailed in this class back on October 3 and gets a chance to team up with Gingras for trainer Ron Burke this time. (7) BELLISSIMO FACE S is on a six-race win streak for Engblom. He's shown plenty of gate speed, so the outside post doesn't concern me too much. (1) KHAOSAN ROAD moves up from the NW20000L5 level but does so off a victory and has scored three straight times overall. He moves in from the seven-hole to the pole position.
Race 9 - 40000CLM Trot
(3) GAELIHILL had trot in the stretch in his last try two weeks ago and makes his third start back after a layoff tonight. He gets co-owner Gingras to drive, too. (1) WILLY WALTON has been very sharp outside of the one time he broke on 10-10. He is back with trainer Scott Di Domenico tonight after being re-claimed out of his victory on October 17. (2) ICE BREAKERS K cut the fractions and wound up second in a $40,000 claimer on the 17th of October and moves in on the gate from the five-hole to post two.
