(5) HALOA posted a win over at the Meadowlands last month and makes her second start on Lasix for leading trainer Per Engblom. (2) I'M OUT was third in an amateur event at Yonkers back in late October and gets a chance to partner with one of the top amateur drivers in Andrew Adamczyk. (1) CAL MILES N SHELL starts from the pole and was first and second in a pair of amateur contests back in October.

Race 2 - 15000CLM Pace

(3) WELL THAT'S MARKY closed out 2025 in by far the best form of this group and gets a driver change to Jason Bartlett. (2) METAMAN gained ground in a fourth-place effort on December 11 and moves in a couple of notches on the gate here. (4) SHINE A LIGHT only had two wins a year ago but one of them came at Yonkers and he comes in from Monticello off a third-place result.

Race 3 - NAADA Winter Series Leg #1 Trot

(1) VELOCIRAPTOR invades from the Meadowlands with a win and a third in his last two appearances and he's had success at Yonkers before also. (2) BARN CREDIT comes in with three straight on-the-board efforts between Monticello and the Meadowlands and gets post relief off his most recent try. (3) CERTIFY did well in amateur events in Pennsylvania late in 2025 and slides in from the eight-hole at Harrah's Philadelphia to post three here.

Race 4 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace

(3) ON DAYBOO was sharp at Yonkers not all that long ago and gets a chance to team up with Yannick Gingras from a good post here. (1) LOUS THE ATTITUDE kicks off 2026 in a softer spot than he ended last year, moves inside to the pole position and adds Bartlett. (2) PIRATES CODE shows a victory at this level on November 19 and drew well in this contest.

Race 5 - 40000CLM Trot

(8) WILLY WALTON will have to overcome the eight-hole but has done so in the past and got the nod from Gingras over another one. (3) BLUEBIRD BISHOP doesn't always mind his manners but when he does he's often a threat in this class, as he demonstrated in his victory on December 11. (4) WHEELZABLAZIN struggled last time out at the Meadowlands but hit the board in his final two tries at this level in 2025.

Race 6 - 15000CLM Pace

(2) DANCE ON THE BEACH rallied to finish second in his final outing of 2025 and moves in from post six to the two-hole tonight. (4) ROCKINBILLY'SDREAM led a long way before he wound up second against $15,000 claimers on December 18 and owns a victory in this class on November 20. (3) JOHNNY CHIP got the nod from Bartlett over two others in this tilt, and although his form over the last month and change isn't the best, I have to respect that pick and will include.

Race 7 - NW22801L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5 / NW10 PM Races LT / 60000CLM Trot

(3) SEVEN REPS picked up a third and a win in this class on December 11 and December 18 and makes his 2026 debut here for the top tandem of Gingras and trainer Ron Burke. (4) BELLISSIMO FACE S was victorious at this level on 12-11 and gets reunited with Bartlett for Engblom tonight. (2) BRONZER won handily at the Meadowlands to kick off his 5-year-old campaign and was third against NW20000L5 foes on the 11th of December.

Race 8 - 40000CLM Trot

(8) BUSY MAKING MONI is stuck with post eight but was facing tougher foes when last seen at Yonkers, came back with a closing fourth at the Meadowlands on 1-9 and gets reunited with Gingras. (5) ENERGY KING hit the board in two of three appearances at this level in December and returns to action with Bartlett in the bike. (4) B NICKING wrapped up 2025 with a triumph at Harrah's Philadelphia and was in against NW20000L5s at Yonkers prior to that.

Race 9 - NW20000L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5 / NW10 PM Races LT / 60000CLM Trot

(1) VLAHOS steps up from where he wrapped up 2025, but he won handily on the front-end on 12-18 and was in the Open at Dover prior to coming to Yonkers. He was also Kelly's choice over two other contenders. (2) CHIPPER DALE finished outside the top three just once in his final seven appearances of his 4-year-old campaign. He hikes up from the $40,000 claimers, but that form sticks out and he adds Bartlett in the bike. (5) HAND DOVER DAN got sharp over at Pocono in October and November and kept that going at Yonkers, including a second at this level on the 18th of December.

Race 10 - NW5000L5 who are NW L3 Starts / 12500CLM Pace

(6) MR PROFETA struggled to find the winner's circle in 2025 but cut the fractions and wound up second at this level two back. (4) CAVEMAN A is an obvious contender, but it's hard to overlook two straight losses as the favorite at the Meadowlands. He was Bartlett's choice over an Engblom trainee, which is usually significant, but I'll try and beat him for the top spot. (7) CRUSH KILL DESTROY is the Engblom horse Bartlett opted off. He was third in the corresponding class to this one at Harrah's Philadelphia on December 28.
