Race 1 - NAADA Winter Series Leg #2 Trot
(1) IMA STANDUP GUY owns a romping win in an amateur race at Yonkers back on 10-30 and makes his second start of the year tonight while he moves in from the eight-hole to post one. (5) THE LAST CHAPTER exits the Open over at Monticello and performed well in amateur contests at Yonkers in 2025. (3) MUSCLE DAN has struggled to find the winner's circle but comes out of some tough events out of town and was second in an amateur tilt at the Meadowlands on the 6th of November.

Race 2 - 40000CLM Trot
(1) ENERGY KING debuts for new connections off a claim, has hit the board in five of his last seven outings and won in this class on 1-22. (2) BUSY MAKING MONI rebounded off a break on January 22 to finish third a week ago and gets a driver switch to Jason Bartlett. (4) PEDAL ON METAL rallied off a second-over trip to score in a $40,000 claimer last Thursday and hasn't been outside the trifecta in his last five appearances.
Race 3 - Invitational Trot
(6) TAKE ALL COMERS did well in the MGM Grand Prix Trotting Series to close out last year and returned with a victory at the Meadowlands on 1-23. He just needs to be put in play from the outside post. (5) CECIL HANOVER prevailed in the Invitational a week ago and gets to slide in a couple of notches on the gate here. (3) THE HAZELTON came in second to CECIL HANOVER last Thursday and gets to team up with Bartlett again.
Race 4 - F&M 20000CLM Pace
(5) SEA STORM was an even fourth in her debut for this stable last week, and I'll give her another shot tonight as she gets a new driver in Jordan Stratton. (2) BIG CITY DAISY didn't have a very good trip a week ago and couldn't get involved but gets significant post relief here in her first outing for these connections, has Bartlett to drive again and moves in on the gate from the seven-hole to post two. (3) SHAKE ME LOOSE was Yannick Gingras's choice over my top selection and will be looking for an easier trip from a better draw as she showed speed but got parked last Wednesday.
Race 5 - NW20251L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5 / NW10 PM Races LT / 60000CLM Trot
(2) AUSTRAL HANOVER landed an inside post tonight after he's been stuck with posts six or seven in his last three efforts, and he won two in-a-row in this class on 11-20 and 12-11. (1) ULTION FACE S was in the MGM Grand Prix Trotting Series final when last seen locally for leading trainer Per Engblom and gets to partner with Bartlett for the first time. (4) MAHONE SEELSTER steps up from the $40,000 claimers but has three victories in four tries thus far in 2026, and I'll toss him in the mix underneath.
Race 6 - 40000CLM Trot
(3) WILLY WALTON moves in to post three off back-to-back eight-hole efforts and won the last time he drew inside on December 11. (1) WHEELZABLAZIN has hit the board in five of his last seven trips behind the gate and has a second and a third against $40,000 claimers since he came back from the Meadowlands. (7) VLAHOS will have to overcome a bad post but races out of a red-hot stable and shows recent triumphs against both $40,000 claiming company and optional $60,000 claiming foes.
Race 7 - 3-6YO 20000CLM Pace
(1) STARE ME DOWN posted a third against open $20,000 claimers last Wednesday and faces age-restricted foes tonight. Add in that he drew post one again, and I'll give him top call. (4) ROSE RUN ASTRO has hit the board in both of his efforts at this level so far in 2026 and races out of a stable that's capable of having one fire off a big mile at any time. (2) ENFORCER loses Bartlett's services here but won in this class a week ago and moves in from the six-hole to post two.
Race 8 - NW7500L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW5000L5 Pace
(6) BET ON MAC gets a chance to have Bartlett drive him and has been facing tougher foes than he meets tonight since he won at the Meadowlands on January 3. (2) KOMODO BEACH invades from the Meadowlands with three straight on-the-board finishes, including a triumph on the 24th of January. He also gets some post relief in this event. (5) KOPI LUWAK didn't make much of an impact last Wednesday but gets both class and post relief tonight for the always-dangerous Yannick Gingras/Ron Burke tandem.

Race 9 - 15000CLM Pace
(2) BLOWIN SMOKE returns to Yonkers tonight and he was facing much tougher $25,000 claimers when last seen locally in December. He also gets a driver switch with Gingras taking over. (4) DANCE ON THE BEACH comes in with five finishes in the trifecta in his last seven outings and won pretty handily on the front-end a week ago. (7) TWO FACED drew a bad post for the second straight time but goes for Bartlett & Engblom and drops out of the $20,000 claiming class.
Race 10 - NW5696L5 who are NW Last 3 Starts / 12500CLM Pace
(1) WHITE LOTUS appears to be a standout in here based on the classes he was racing at to close out 2026, and he squeezed into this event by a dollar as he has $5,695 earned in his last five starts. (2) PIRATES CODE prevailed at Yonkers back on the 19th of November and finds the bottom level here from an inside post. (4) STATESIDELCKDWN GB makes his second start for these connections and hit the board in the corresponding class to this one at Harrah's Philadelphia on December 26 and at the Meadowlands on November 22.
