Race 1 - NAADA Summer Series Leg #3 Trot

(4) LOVE THIS BAR took some wagering action in the first two legs of this series but was too far back in round one and had a bad trip last week. He gets a driver change here and I'll hope for a smoother journey. (6) PSALMSFORTYSIXFIVE just missed the spring series final when last seen at Yonkers on June 5 and returns off a solid second-place finish in the Open at Monticello last time out. (3) STAR HAIRDRESSER has likely been facing tougher company than he faces here and drew well again.

Race 2 - NW20000L5 / Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW15000L5 / NW10 PM Races LT / 60000CLM Trot

(1) DIAMANTE TRIO IT was victorious in this class on June 5 and I'm going to bank on her being put on the engine from the pole position tonight. (3) AUSTRAL HANOVER has been very sharp in the last few weeks and comes in off a victory at this level. Add in that he gets to slide in a couple of notches on the gate and he's definitely usable. (6) INFINITY STONE was a sick scratch last Thursday but has been first or second in four of his last five outings against NW20000L5 / optional $60,000 claimers at Yonkers.

Race 3 - 40000CLM Trot

(1) ALL STAR SWAN led much of the way and wound up third on 6-19. That was her first pari-mutuel try since 2-27, so she should probably be sharper here and she moves in from the six-hole to post one. (5) MAX has won four of his five efforts against $40,000 claimers since he came in from Pocono and has won both from off-the-pace and on the lead. (6) HOOLIE N HECTOR shows three victories and a runner-up finish between Yonkers and Monticello since he returned to action in May and I think $40,000 claiming company might be just a bit softer than the NW15000L5's he defeated most recently.

Race 4 - 40000CLM Trot

(3) BROOKVIEW DARIUS owns a win and a third among his last three outings and has had success in this class at Yonkers before as well. (6) AIRMANS JACKPOT has hit the board in six of her last seven appearances and is back with Pat Lachance after being re-claimed. She's tended to finish underneath more than on top, and I'll put her second. (2) CANTSTOP YANKEE raced well in a second-place finish to the red-hot Max a couple of weeks ago and hails from the stable of leading trainer Per Engblom.

Race 5 - Invitational Trot

I'm going to stick with (3) KHAOSAN ROAD again as he's been knocking on the door throughout 2025 and has a post advantage on the other logical ones in here. (5) SOUTHWIND COORS owns multiple victories in the Invitational at Yonkers so far this year and returns while still in razor-sharp form here. (4) TIPSY MONI takes on a field of mostly males here instead of just the mares, but she has a victory in this class back in early April and enters off a romping victory on 6-19.

Race 6 - 25000CLM Pace

(4) TECHTOPIA HANOVER comes up from Ocean Downs off back-to-back wins and is now in a stable that often does well with first-timers. (5) KARLOO BRADLEY N steps up from the $20,000 claiming class but hasn't been outside the trifecta in his last five starts and debuts for new connections after being claimed again. (6) SAILBOAT HANOVER has a similar profile to KARLOO BRADLEY N as he's been racing against $15,000 and $20,000 claiming company and is moving up the ladder tonight. He's on a nice run of top-three finishes and is back with Dennis Laterza off a re-claim.

Race 7 - F&M 20000CLM Pace

(2) PARADISE ROCK L disappointed on June 17 when she broke stride as the favorite, but I think she was likely well-meant given the wagering support she took and she makes her second start for these connections here. (6) RACIN FOR ROYALTY hasn't been outside the trifecta in her last five efforts and overcame post six to finish third two starts back, so the move out on the gate doesn't bother me. (7) EBONY LADY also drew poorly but won handily against $20,000 claimers on the 6th of May and was third at this level a week ago. She debuts for new connections off a claim tonight.

Race 8 - 30000CLM Pace

(4) ALTA CLASSIC A won for this stable back on May 22 and moves in from the eight-hole to post four this time in his return to this barn off a re-claim. (2) ALEX TYE rallied for a second-place finish against $30,000 claimers a week ago and drew inside again tonight. (1) BILL HALEY N went a long way on the front-end before he wound up third last Thursday and slides in on the gate from post seven to the pole position. He also won handily at this level two back from post one.

Race 9 - 3-6YO 30000CLM Pace

(3) CONTACT ZONE hikes up from the age-restricted $20,000 claimers but has three seconds and a win in his last four tries and is a first-timer for these connections off a claim. (5) BULLVILLE FRANK comes in off a victory in this class for Engblom and shows four other runner-up results as well in his lines. (6) LYONS BENJAMIN has now won three straight, including two in-a-row at this level. He does move out from post one to the six-hole but has demonstrated a versatile racing style, so that shouldn't be a big issue.

Race 10 - F&M 20000CLM Pace

(1) YOU BEDA ROCK tallied rather handily at the Meadowlands in her last appearance on June 20 and meets up with a beatable group here in her Yonkers return. (6) PINE BUSH MAGA was second when she dropped down to this level on 6-17 and shows a victory against $20,000 claiming company back on 5-6. (3) NIKASA N has finished third in half of her six tries since the qualifier back on the 30th of April and landed another inside post tonight.
