Race 1: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace

Not often you see a 41/1 shot getting claimed...and wins! (3) SHANGRI LA HANOVER steps up a notch for new connections and looks to be a price again. #5 very logical as she races well for multiple barns. #2 steps up sharp.

Race 2: NW5721 in last 5 starts Pace

(7) ROCK THE BELLES drops again and is now at the lowest conditioned level. Awful draw again but he did have speed two back. #4 also drops in second start off layoff. #1 outclasses these by a ton.

Race 3: 3-5YO Winners 5-7 races or $90,000 LT Pace

(1) CAPTAIN LUFFY broke last week while challenging the leader; likely just a fluke and right back in the box. Second and a winner in his last two at this level for the Alexander connections. #6 steps up off a powerhouse performance. #2 beat many of these last week; logical.

Race 4: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace

(5) YS SENSATIONALCITY is a favorite of mine and she definitely owes me money; veteran mare is proven with these and is capable of getting off the gate at a price. #1 gets major post relief after a brutal trip. #2 also moves inside for the Lachance barn and won three back from a similar spot.

Race 5: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace

(2) JIVE DANCING A may be in the stretch drive of her career but the classy mare still seems fast enough to compete and will be close to the pace from the inside post. #1 won from the pocket last week, right back at the rail. #8 would be the pick if not for the post. #3 was claimed for $30K, off a month, right in for $20K. Massive red flag.

Race 6: 3-5YO Winners 2-4 races or $60,000 LT Pace

(4) STAY FOCUSED was a winner with Lasix added in his first start for these connections over at Pocono and he ships in to a comparable level from a competitive post. #3 is 1 for 33 lifetime but qualified with vigor and gets Lasix and a catch driver. #5 is capable but may be at a tactical disadvantage.

Race 7: NW7536 in last 5 starts Pace

(7) MYULTIMATEBAXTER N returns from a stint at The Meadowlands and note his last Yonkers try he was a solid second from the seven hole with Kakaley driving. He's 20/1 ML and is at least worth a look. #1 and #4 both have early speed but are generally lacking late.

Race 8: NW5000 in last 5 starts Pace

(6) TWIG was parked out last week when dropping to this level but to his credit he didn't tire that much. Laterza trainee faces a very camera-shy group and is another one at 20/1 ML who I think is capable. #5 is second start for Bongiorno, hard to trust after breaking last week. #1 was second at this level last month, little to report since then.

Race 9: NW11436 in last 5 starts Pace

(6) BETTER B BOLD was tons the best in his debut for the Travis Alexander barn after shipping in from Ohio/PA. Absolutely deserves a follow-up play despite the bump in class. #1 looks ready off that winning qualifier, down in class, draws the rail. #2 usually races as well as he draws.
