2025 MEET STATS: 187 - 612 / $1,054.30 (-$169.70)
BEST BETS: 31 - 57 / $108.50 (-$5.50)
BEST BET: I DID IT MYWAY (4th)
SPOT PLAY: TOBAGO TIME (1st)
Race 1: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace
(6) TOBAGO TIME showed her class last week scoring first off the claim despite bumping up in class and missing almost a month. Mare can repeat here facing similar. (2) JENDEN STRIKE A moves to the Laterza barn via claim and stays at the same competitive $25K level. If she maintains her good form for her new connections she'll be right there at the wire. (1) MORNING HAS BROKEN goes second start for a new barn and gets a new pilot in Dube. Veteran is generally competitive from inside posts.

Race 2: F&M $30,000 Claiming Pace
(2) WOODEMERE HARRIET was reclaimed two back by the Bongiorno barn then had post eight when bumped to this level and went nowhere. She had been solid in prior efforts and is in a realistic spot tonight with the move back inside. (3) STAY HAPPY was also stuck outside in her first off the Dilloian, Jr claim and did rally for a small piece. She's very logical here but will probably be an underlay. (5) STORMY SERENA has two wins and two seconds over her last five starts; drawing outside her main competition may limit her to a smaller share.

Race 3: $60,000-$75,000 Claiming Pace
(5) SPEAKER OF PEACE has closed well in all recent so he steps into this claiming class in good enough form to make some noise if a favorable trip comes his way. Lachance gets the catch drive and could fit this guy's running style well. (3) TRENDY TEEN didn't come up with his best last week but prior races have all been solid. Is he regressing now or can he come up with a bounce-back effort? (1) BOILING OAR gets the call to land a share by virtue of the rail draw.
Race 4: NW10851 in last 5 starts Pace
(5) I DID IT MYWAY gets serious class relief in his local return and he's better than he's been showing. Millionaire should be able to call on that back class to make headway in here. (3) MIND HUNTER was a well-rated winner last start and he should be a major player again on the minor bump in class. (1) TWO FACED is 0 for 18 on the year but has hit the board in ten of those tries; using underneath.
Race 5: 3-5YO NW 2 races or $30,000 lifetime Pace
(2) P A PIPER was uncovered a long way in his local debut and never mounted a serious charge but I think this Noel Daley trainee deserves another chance. Let's see if Stratton can keep him closer to the pace tonight. (5) FORWARD FLASH is making just his seventh lifetime start but he's got a win and three other board placings. Last week was a decent effort in the Excelsior at a big price. (4) RJS RED DEVIL was second best out of the seven hole two back for the Alexander/Kakaley connections and his lone career win was an impressive 1:51 4/5 win at Pocono; fits well here.
Race 6: 3-5YO Winners of 2-4 races or $60,000 LT Pace
(4) FEDERER was a solid runner-up from the pocket in his local debut for the Pelling barn. He does seems to have a touch of 'second-itis' but deserves the call to break through to the win column. (2) IMA PERFECT CHOICE returns off a powerful Excelsior win but he did break here in his lone Yonkers try and also miscued over the half at Buffalo; use caution. (7) IKNOWBETTER draws poorly in his third try since the move to the Bongiorno barn but he's got talent and can be considered for a piece.
Race 7: NW20000 in last 5 starts Pace
(1) DEETZY faces some good competition but he's had a strong season at age 13 and is a threat to go a long way on the engine. (4) SHERLOCK N gets Stratton in the bike for the Pete Tritton barn and a repeat of his effort two back makes him tough. (7) AYE AYE CAPTAIN N gets to stay at the same level off an easy win but gets the worst of the draw; sharp enough to rally for a share.
Race 8: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
I always seem to guess wrong on (2) GOLDEN QUEST N but she was decent last week when back in claimers for a new barn and she has a major post edge on many of her main rivals; Holland drives again. (6) MALUKA MISS N is unproven from outside posts but she's hit the ticket in her last five. (4) PEMBROKE SOUTHIE has just been okay of late; moderate post relief here.

Race 9: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace
(3) GAMBLINGTERROR steps up in class off a solid front-end win and looking at time and class figures this veteran seems to fit with these; call to repeat. (5) SAMHARA N had finishing pace in his last two and gets a change to Buter as Siegelman stays with #4. (2) OUTLAW MAN N seemed a little outclassed in his last three but is back inside and should go well here.
Race 10: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(3) ON THE MONEY GB returns from a couple of tries out of town and five back she beat a field of $25K claimers; now in for the lighter tag from a decent post and with Kakaley driving she can get it done. (4) I LOVED HER FIRST jogged two back from a similar spot at odds-on then had the eight hole last week up in class. Bongiorno trainee is the one to beat. (6) SAUBLE DELIGHTFUL is just 1 for 16 but picks up a check every start; veteran can be a price to use underneath.
