2025 MEET STATS: 187 - 612 / $1,054.30 (-$169.70)
BEST BETS: 31 - 57 / $108.50 (-$5.50)
BEST BET: TOBAGO TIME (3rd)
SPOT PLAY: THRASHER (9th)
Race 1: 3-5YO NW2 races or $30,000 lifetime Pace
(8) GLOWING LOU has shown some good speed and stamina since arriving in the Stratton barn and he'll need some of both to overcome the eight hole in his Yonkers debut; may be worth a shot due to his projected good price. (6) P A PIPER was uncovered into a quick back half and understandably tired in his local arrival for the Noel Daley barn; he seems capable of better results with a smoother trip. (5) PEPPERMINT PETE has been in the Excelsior through his three 23025 starts, gets Bartlett here from a reasonable post.

Race 2: F&M $30,000 Claiming Pace
(6) ONEDERFULBEACH was a sharp winner two back off the claim for these connections and she came up just short when bumped up to this level; Gingras drives again and she will undoubtedly offer the better price of the main contenders. (3) STAY HAPPY gets needed post relief in her second start for the Dilloian, Jr barn and keeps Bartlett; very logical here, but as we know logical = overbet. (1) STORMY SERENA is more than proven with these and looms large from the rail.

Race 3: F&M $25,000 Claiming Pace
(7) TOBAGO TIME tapped into his back class with a win out of the seven hole first off the claim and coming off a sick scratch; keeps Bartlett going for three straight overall. (3) WHO'S PERFECT dropped and popped last out, draws well again back up against $25's; Gingras drives tonight. (4) MORNING HAS BROKEN is capable of stepping up with a big effort from time to time.
Race 4: $60,000-$75,000 Claiming Pace
(2) DEETZY moves back inside and that's where this ageless veteran does his best work. If he can establish the lead early on he's got a big shot to take these the distance. (4) TRENDY TEEN and (3) TWIN B DELUXE are two of the leading contenders here from top barns and they both drew well enough to do some damage.
Race 5: NW10051 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) SHADOW CAT is always a player when drawn well and he jogged when last inside at this NW10000 level. Engblom trainee has Bartlett again and can work out a live stalking trip. (3) FAMILY RECIPE has looked good in two starts since the switch to the DiDomenico barn and the somewhat camera-shy veteran has a real chance to go back-to-back here. (6) WASA HEAT SEEKER N is the latest Down-Under import and he enters tonight off a winning qualifier.
Race 6: F&M $50,000 Claiming Pace
I usually guess wrong with (2) GOLDEN QUEST N but the veteran raced well in her first start after the switch to the Oakes barn and she's got a post edge here over her main rivals. (4) AMBUSHED is back at the level she does best at after a failed try last out against tougher. (7) YS SENSATIONALCITY has been one of the top mares at this level all season but obviously the poor post can give her trouble; she has made the front from out there in the past but it may be too tall of an order tonight.
Race 7: 3-5YO Winners 2-4 races or $60,000 LT Pace
(1) LMC PEANUTS WATCHN shipped down from Canada a few months ago and has generally raced well for these connections over at The Meadowlands; Chris Height trainee tries age-restricted NW rivals here and I think he'll be a good fit. (7) FEDERER was a good second in his local debut and looms large again tonight despite the poor draw. (2) XPERT beat an Excelsior field up at Vernon last start for the Lachance barn and though he didn't look all that good in two Yonkers tries back in May perhaps with more starts and experience under his belt he'll have more to offer here.
Race 8: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace
(4) SEMI TOUGH has been racing well recently and the Burke veteran gets Gingras back in the bike for his local return. He draws reasonably well and this doesn't look like the strongest NW15000 field he faces. (3) TWO FACED hasn't worked out that well since being claimed by these connections but he seemed to bounce back nicely coming off that recent lame scratch and he can be put in play early. (7) SWEET BEACH LIFE certainly has the speed and talent to contend but has to overcome the worst post.

Race 9: NW75001 in last 5 starts Pace
(2) THRASHER hasn't done much in his last four starts but he was reclaimed out of his last by the Seddon barn and goes back to Gingras. The connections teamed up for a win from a similar spot back in May. (3) HUNGRY ANGEL BOY got hung to dry last start but that is unlikely to happen again with the move back inside. (1) ESCAPE TO AMERICA was the 6/5 favorite last start but was shaken off by the classy winner; gets another chance from the rail and should offer more value.
Race 10: F&M $20,000 Claiming Pace
(2) ON THE MONEY GB returns to Yonkers and is back in for a tag facing a pretty stale field; mare was a winner here the last time Yannick drove. (4) QUICK MENU keeps getting claimed despite not having a win since the end of April. With Bartlett I assume she'll be heading to the front. (1) IRIS SEELSTER moves back to the rail and that can be enough to land her a share.
