2026 MEET STATS: 27 - 79 / $207.26 (+$49.26)
BEST BETS: 6 - 8 / $20.30 (+$4.30)

BEST BET -
TOP GUN HANOVER (3rd)
SPOT PLAY - ROCK THIS WAY (10th)

Race 1 - 20000CLM Pace

(4) SETH HANOVER won two back in this class and then had little chance from post eight last week. He debuts for new high-percentage connections here off a claim and moves inside on the gate to the four-hole. (7) PINK FLOYD HANOVER returned to his victorious ways a week ago with a romping victory from off-the-pace and goes for a stable that's having an excellent meet thus far after being claimed. (1) EVER M drew the pole position here after he's had mid-pack or outside draws thus far in 2026 and has gained spots and/or ground in his last three appearances.

Race 2 - F&M 20000CLM Pace

(2) CREME DELIGHT takes a second crack at $20,000 claiming company here from a much better post and shows five straight races where she picked up checks against tougher foes from 12-2 to 1-27. (3) YUENGLING held sway on the front-end to tally a week ago and gets to partner with Jason Bartlett again for a high-percentage stable. (5) COALFORDSNSHINE GB moves in on the gate from the eight-hole and has hit the board in her last two trips behind the gate, including a third to YUENGLING last week.

Race 3 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races or 90000LT Trot

It took a couple of starts for leading trainer Per Engblom to figure out (1) TOP GUN HANOVER, but he's done nothing but win since then, and I'll look for the same result to happen here from post one. (4) GREEN MEL returns to this class after a couple of tries against tougher NW15000L5s and moves in from post eight to the four-hole. (2) MONI MAN got a start under his belt over at the Meadowlands on February 6 and now makes his Yonkers debut from a much better draw than he had across the river.

Race 4 - 25000CLM Pace

(1) EVER HOPING A gained positions and ground last week and slides in on the gate from post seven to the pole position tonight. (2) CHICKEN N DICE upset at 54-1 a week ago in this class, and I think he has a shot at working out a similar trip here from another inside post. (6) BLACK HAWK JOE A starts from the outside, but he has back-to-back impressive victories, including at this level last Wednesday.

Race 5 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot

(4) BEERNSUNSHINE DEO avoids some of the tough foes she's been having to chase in this class thus far in 2026 and hopefully will be driven aggressively again. (6) KANON LASER DK didn't really fire a couple of weeks ago but did win at this level on 1-21 and it's difficult to overlook any Bartlett/Engblom horses. (7) ENTERTAIN ME has a win and a third since Brent Holland took over the driving. He's at the controls again tonight, and I'll toss her in the mix underneath.

Race 6 - 15000CLM Pace

I'm going to stick with (1) LOU'S BEACH again as he moves in from post eight to the two-hole in his second chance at this level, and he didn't have the cleanest of trips last week as he wound up parked throughout and on dull cover. (1) MAJOR POCKET A comes in with six on-the-board results in his last seven appearances and starts from the pole position again. (3) TAKE A CLOSER LOOK is also sharp as he hasn't been outside the trifecta in five outings since early December.

Race 7 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / NW2 PM Races or 30000LT Draw Inside Trot

(1) BROMAX didn't perform badly last week given the runaway winner he was facing, and he had been off for just over a month coming into that tilt. He's on a regular rotation here, doesn't face anybody as imposing as the victor was a week ago and landed the pole again. (3) IDITOROD has hit the board in all three of his outings at Yonkers so far in 2026 and owns a victory at this level on January 28. (2) SISTER LO made the New York Excelsior Series final for her group as a 3-year-old and gets to partner with Bartlett in her first pari-mutuel start of the season tonight.

Race 8 - 15000CLM Pace

(5) BAD BOY TOO put in a good effort to finish second in his first outing for these connections last Wednesday. He's had a lot of success at Yonkers before and hopefully can avoid another first-over trip. (1) TIN ROOF RAIDER A comes in on a three-race win streak at this level and debuts for a new owner/trainer after being claimed on February 9. He starts from the pole and keeps Bartlett, which should only help. (7) SHINE A LIGHT starts from the outside post but scored against $15,000 claiming company on 2-9 and has hit the board in four straight appearances overall.

Race 9 - 20000CLM Pace

(4) DELIGHTFUL TERROR hit the board three straight times against tougher $20,000 claimers at Yonkers from 11-19 through 12-10 and returns tonight off a gaining fourth-place result at the Meadowlands on 1-24. (5) MOVIN' ON UP came up just a neck short of winning against $25,000 claiming company last week and now drops a notch in this spot. (1) HURRIKANEKINGJAMES tired on the front-end a week ago but won impressively at this level prior to that. He debuts for new connections off a claim and gets a driver switch to Bartlett here.

Race 10 - 15000CLM Pace

(4) ROCK THIS WAY picked up a couple of spots in the final quarter of his mile a week ago and now moves in on the gate to the four-hole in his third start back off the shelf. (3) SMOOTH LOU delivered on the front-end last Wednesday and should have every chance to tally again tonight from a good post. (2) ROCKET FREIGHT captured a $15,000 claiming contest last week and starts from post two again in this tilt.
