(3) SETH HANOVER turned in another good effort last week in finishing third and moves in from post seven to the three-hole tonight. (4) SHAKE IT was victorious in his debut for these connections a week ago and got the nod from leading driver Jason Bartlett. (1) HURRIKANEKINGJAMES wasn't Bartlett's choice but starts from the pole position off a win for a stable that's off to a roaring start to 2026.

Race 2 - F&M 20000CLM Pace
(1) FORTUNADA had pace in the stretch in her runner-up finish last Wednesday. She makes her third start back after some time off here and landed the pole. (3) STONECOLD GIRL held off my top selection for the victory when they met a week ago and has Bartlett at the controls again for high-percentage connections. (4) COALFORDSNSHINE GB has shown the ability to hit the board in this class and gets some post relief this time.
Race 3 - 25000CLM Pace
(3) DELIGHTFUL DUDE N prevailed in this class back on January 21 and landed an inside post tonight after he's had the six-hole and the seven-hole in his last two outings. (6) BLACK HAWK JOE A made a big three-wide move to take command last Wednesday but couldn't hold off a rival in the lane. He's now got five straight finishes in the exacta for a high-percentage stable. (2) LYRICAL GENIUS A tired after setting a contested pace a week ago but did tally against $25,000 claimers on 2-24 and debuts for new connections off a claim here. He also gets Bartlett in the bike.
Race 4 - F&M Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / F&M who hve not won more than 5 PM Races LT Draw Outside Pace
(7) SAMMY JO HANOVER captured a Grand Circuit race out at Northfield late in her 3-year-old campaign. This is her first outing of 2026, but she qualified well at the Meadowlands on 2-21, and I'll give her a shot. (4) SEND IT DOWN SLIM banked over $254,000 as a sophomore and qualified back well at Pocono. Her career history has been to finish second a lot more often than win, and that's how I'll play it tonight. (3) ALWAYSBPUFFING IR recently went on Lasix and comes in from Pocono off a triumph in their NW2 class.
Race 5 - 15000CLM Pace
(4) I'M THE PRINCE moves inside on the gate here after he's had nothing but seven- or eight-holes since he dropped down this level. Hopefully that keeps him closer to the action against a fairly wide-open group. (5) HANK THE HUNK has a win and a second in his last two outings against $15,000 claiming company and gets to partner with Bartlett. (2) I'M SOME GRADUATE is just one-for-29 in the win column over the last two years, but he often shows the capability to get onto the ticket and should have every chance to do that tonight as he slides in from post seven to post two.
Race 6 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / NW2 or 30000LT Draw Inside Trot
(2) HIPPIE SHAKE hasn't shown much in two starts so far in 2026, but she moves in from post eight to the two-hole tonight, and that should give her a chance to show what she's capable of doing. (3) SEISMIC STEP won in this class on December 3 of last year and makes his first start of his 4-year-old campaign here with Lasix added. (6) IDITOROD is riding a six-race streak of on-the-board results and owns a victory at this level on 1-28.
Race 7 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races or 90000LT / 3-5YO who have not won more than 8 PM Races LT Draw Outside Trot
(4) THE THING IS won in this class on December 10 and I will look for him to be sharper here in his second start of 2026. (3) KARINCHAK tallied at Pocono the last time he competed in an overnight race on 10-18 of last year and qualified well a week ago at Pocono. (7) GREEN MEL will have to overcome the outside post but won at this level last Wednesday and I expect he'll be put in play.

Race 8 - 15000CLM Pace
(3) LAST BEACH gets post relief in his third outing for this stable and also switches drivers to Bartlett. (2) LETSMAKELOTSAMONEY put in a solid effort from first-up in a second-place finish last Wednesday and is a third-timer for a high-percentage stable here. (5) HARAMBE DEO had a difficult trip from an outside post on 2-21 at the Meadowlands and tired. However, he was very sharp prior to that both here and over at Monticello.
Race 9 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot
(6) TRUMP THE WARRIOR suffered a couple of defeats at Yonkers on 1-28 and 2-4 but did defeat NW4 company at Pocono on the 14th of February, and you get Bartlett/Engblom at what could be a little value. (3) SEVEN LAYER prevailed in this class a week ago and makes his second start of 2026 here and with hobbles on. (5) WALKWHILEYOURTALKN finished second to SEVEN LAYER last week and is a second-timer off the bench tonight.
