Race 1 - 20000CLM Pace
(7) BILL HALEY N starts from the outside but gets a driver switch to Jason Bartlett and has hit the board in both of his tries since he dropped down to this level. (3) DELIGHTFUL TERROR has won two in-a-row, including against $20,000 claiming company most recently. (4) TIN ROOF RAIDER A races out of a high-percentage stable and has been the runner-up in consecutive tries in this class.

Race 2 - F&M 20000CLM Pace
(2) LE BEC FIN debuts for a stable that does well with first-timers, gets Bartlett and comes off a victory at Harrington in her last effort. (3) NUTTINBUTHEBEST finished second in this class last Tuesday and has had plenty of success at Yonkers before. (1) EBONY LADY hit the board in three straight appearances from 7-19 through 8-7 and gets significant post relief.
Race 3 - F&M Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 67198LT / NW2 PM Races or 30000LT Draw Inside Pace
(1) LONELY GHOST doesn't have a great win record but was fourth last time out against tougher NW5 company over at Pocono and landed another pole position. (5) BEQUEATH dominated NW3 foes down at Harrah's Philadelphia in her last outing and trainer Andrew Harris has been doing well when he's raced at Yonkers this year. (4) SHANGRI LA HANOVER got the nod from Bartlett and does show a couple of victories against NW3's at Harrah's Philadelphia back in July.
Race 4 - 15000CLM Pace
(4) JOHNNY CHIP was a gaining third in this class in his Yonkers return on 8-30 and gets a driver switch to Matt Kakaley tonight against a beatable group. (1) D A WICKED SHINE shows a runner-up result at this level back on August 7 and gets to partner with Bartlett from the pole position here. (6) VESPA N starts from the outside but has hit the board in each of his last three efforts and five out of his last seven appearances overall.
Race 5 - F&M 20000CLM Pace
(3) FIGHT NOT FLIGHT's only two poor efforts as of late have come against tougher $25,000 claiming foes. She drops tonight and won handily in this class on August 19. (2) YOU BEDA ROCK is riding a two-race win streak and moves in a couple of notches on the gate this time. (1) WHO'S PERFECT slides in from the six-hole to the pole position and has the always-dangerous combo of Bartlett and leading trainer Per Engblom in her corner.
Race 6 - 25000CLM Pace
(3) BLACK HAWK JOE A broke before the start last time and lost all chance. He raced well in two outings before that, though, and I'll hope he offers a much better price tonight off the miscue. (4) SPINDOCTOR HANOVER moves in a couple of slots on the gate off an even fourth-place result most recently. He hit the board in both of his efforts for Engblom prior to that and picks up Bartlett. (1) DELIGHTFUL DUDE N now has three consecutive triumphs after he tallied again on August 30 and starts from the pole position.
Race 7 - F&M 20000CLM Pace
(1) JIVE DANCING A finally landed an inside post here after a series of outside draws both at Yonkers and up at Saratoga, and hopefully she'll be set for a big effort in order to take advantage of that. (3) I LOVED HER FIRST took on tougher $25,000 claimers last Tuesday and now drops back to the class where she won on both 8-26 and 7-1. (2) GOT BEACH BODY never got involved from the eight-hole most recently but starts from an inside post tonight and hit the board in four straight efforts in August.

Race 8 - 15000CLM Pace
(1) KNEEDEEP N CUSTARD shows three straights wins from 7-26 through 8-9, including in the corresponding class to this one at Vernon. He starts from the pole tonight and gets reunited with Brett Beckwith. (3) RECORD YEAR tallied at this level twice in August, debuts for new connections off a claim and gets to partner with Bartlett. (5) LAZ comes in off a sick scratch but was facing tougher company at Yonkers prior to that and was Brent Holland's choice.
Race 9 - NW5000L5 / 12500CLM Pace
(5) CHANTEE lacks a victory thus far in 2025 but drops to the bottom level tonight and trainer Pat Lachance has been sending out many live horses as of late. (4) THE GREEK FREAK comes down from Canada into Travis Alexander's stable and shows a win and a second against NW5000L5's at Grand River Raceway. (3) MARLBANK ROAD gets significant post relief off a gaining fifth-place effort last Tuesday and was second in this class on the 18th of July.
